Amazing experience! Using recycled garbage from past Mardi gras, other events and parts of the city to create these bright and interactive experiences describing not only the history of New Orleans, but the present. Well done. We were met at the front by Courtney who was the perfect person to greet customers as they come in, with a beautiful personality to match her smile, she exemplifies what Nola is about. Each experience inside gave a glimpse of what Nola's history and the people of Nola contribute to its history. Highly, recommend, you are basically self guided through this experience, but there are staff to answer questions throughout.

Such an AMAZING experience!!! Both the staff and exhibits were just PHENOMENAL!! There’s sooo much to take in and perfect for all ages!! My mother (66y/o) and our son (13y/o) could not stop talking about it!!! 😂 We can’t wait to visit again!! It was super cool to see my husband’s face light up with excitement! (he was born and raised in N.O.)❤️🥰My baby sister is heavily into art and music and she had an absolute BLAST!! Thanks for the beautiful experience!!! 🥰
JAMNOLA is a great place to spend a couple of hours while in New Orleans. The art installations are beautiful, immersive, and highly interactive, making it a fun experience whether you are exploring solo, with friends, or as a couple. There’s plenty to see, photograph, and engage with throughout the space, and the vibrant creativity really captures the spirit and culture of the city.
I forgot the young history major that was my tour guide but he was informative and had love for all he taught my group. JAMNOLA is a great experience for art and local history lovers in this fair city. I will always remember the whole staff reflected my enthusiasm and I will remember all their smiles forever 💖 💕 ♥️ ❤️ 💗
JAMNOLA is a really fun, vibrant, and interactive experience that features local artists and art that itself is meant to be a reflection of the local culture, and one of the main reasons I wanted to visit! It really did not disappoint. My husband and I got GA tickets and upon entry you are accompanied by a guide who introduces the space and works to you for the first 10-ish mins, and then you are released to explore the space on your own (though there are staff around the exhibits that are un-intrusive but there to answer any questions and are really well-informed about the art). The installations are both creative and informative when you read and interact with them. Lots of great photo ops too--you are encouraged to take photos! The dedication to highlighting local culture, music, and leaders in a creative way was really evident and I really enjoyed the way the installations flowed, and the staff that were present that day. The bathrooms were also clean and the gift shop was on point and had items that both reflected some of the installations and also lots more. Bonus--Loretta's Pralines is across the street so I was able to stop by with no line on the way out!
Just Amazing!! A must see for everyone!! We loved it so much. The staff was the best. Especially the front desk hostess!! Super sweet and funny. All the staff was knowledgeable and nice.
Pretty cool local exhibition in New Orleans to go with kids, but maybe not with adults. For the time we spent in the exhibition, which could have been longer, the tickets were pricey despite getting from a third-party website like Groupon. The first half of the tour was spent with a tour guide, but I think having one should be optional as I noticed some people were annoyed of the presence of a tour guide. Regardless, a pretty unique experience, but it's not for everyone.
This was a fantastic way to kill an hour or two, and while kind of expensive compared to other entertainment alternatives, I think it was worth it! The staff were volunteering themselves to take your photo and you could tell how much they loved their jobs. I have been to a couple of these immersive art installations, including Fairgrounds, Superblue, and Otherworld, but this was my favorite, because it was rooted in a particular space and community. The civic pride was real y’all!
