Tower Market and Deli

Showing properties in East Nashville we stopped in at Tower Market and Deli for lunch. Robert had a Rueben and I had a pastrami salad. Delicious 😋

This food is absolutely exceptional. I drove by this place 1000 times thinking it looked like a gas station and did not want to go in, but by the time I did, I realized why everybody loves this place. The food is incredible and the service is even better. I called to put in a pick up order today and they said they were out of house sauce for the chips and I said that’s OK and I hung up. But by the time I got there to pick up my sandwich, the girl at the register said she took the time to make house sauce for me so that by the time I picked up my food I could have some. That is so above and beyond of what is ever expected, and this is how I run my life as a waitress in this world, so I’m really really happy that this happened to me. Do not sleep on this little deli! It’s absolutely incredible

I was taken here for brunch after a fun and full skating workout at the park. The food was phenomenal!!! The corned beef sandwich, sauerkraut, and the lamb Philly we had were all delicious. Reminded me of home, Baltimore MD. So I was extra impressed because I'm a critical up North foodie. THE CORNED BEEF!!!! I will definitely be back for more.

I’ve looked for months for a proper NY style deli. This place is awesome. The pastrami is good, the BECs come on a Kaiser roll, as they all should. I came early so the service was quick. You guys have a new regular

Had a bad pickup experience due to a rude staff member at the pickup counter but my food was great! My order was ready on the counter but instead of grabbing it she proceeded to ignore me and make a coffee for a different order with no one else waiting. When I finally got my food I asked nicely why should couldn’t have it to me when I got there and she told me it was a first world problem. That being said my food which was prepared by a different staff member was incredibly delicious!

This was suggested by a professor nearby because it was on a list of local restaurants so I figured to check it out. I got their tower burger with cheese but in a spinach tortilla. It was different but it was definitely delicious. The sweet potato tots were also very delicious and I highly recommend, they didn’t even need any sauce. The customer service was excellent and very friendly also. Like a neighborhood market store where the staff knows their people. I’d definitely come back here again, solid selection of items for a mini convenience store and for the deli side there was a lot to choose for food and coffee. Parking is limited because of peak times.

This place is the pits. I really wanted to give it a try, but the food is so not up to par. The meatball sub isn’t like the classic red sauce you’d expect. It’s dry (somehow), super pink, soggy meat on even soggier bread. The thing was dripping in some mystery liquid. Bland with wilted sad veggies. The salad I got was again, super wilted with veggies that were half bad. I bit into a grape tomato and it just turned into a smooshy rotted mess. The ranch tasted off, like Kraft ranch that was left out. The cucumbers had rotted spots in them. There were some positives like our BLT was fine and the waffle fries are actually stellar- but it didn’t make up for the $40 bill where we ended up throwing everything else away. I just wouldn’t chance it here, personally.

1. First, they don't answer the phone. If you dial the number from this listing, it goes straight to voicemail, always. 2. They only have delivery available through ubereats. I live a little bit further away and now they don't accept deliveries by doordash so I can't order. How disappointing! 3. Their Uber eats deliveries are restricted to very close to the restaurant. I used to order large quantities of the chicken and macaroni salads, but I'm no longer able to be a customer because of the restriction.
