One minus of this place is everything cash, they don’t take card of any kind.
Been here twice on different cars, definitely bigger SUV provides you with better experience since it’s more comfortable to feed animals.
Also people with no sunroof please don’t try feed giraffes their neck don’t design to bend over the fence.
If you good driver and not afraid of animals this place is for you. Your car will get some spots since animals have horns and can scratch their head a little. Be careful with big cattle.
My family and I loved it here! Perfect for kids and adults alike. We did the safari in our own vehicle, and we had tons of animal interactions. So many memories were made, and the price was very reasonable - just make sure you have cash as they do not accept debit/credit cards.
Hands down the best zoo I've ever visited. The territory is massive, the atmosphere is incredible, and the variety of animals is impressive. We explored the whole place in our own car, which made it even more of an adventure — driving through it all, I genuinely felt like I was somewhere in Africa. That's how immersive the experience is.
What impressed me the most is how clearly they care for their animals. Every habitat feels natural and thoughtfully designed, and you can tell the animals are comfortable and thriving in their environment. That's rare and it matters.
And the price? Just $15. Other places with a fraction of the animals charge $40–$50. This is genuinely one of the best deals you'll find for an experience this good.

Excellent trip for little ones who love animals. They don't have a large variety of different animals, but they have ALOT of animals and they're all friendly. You can purchases small buckets of feed upon entry. I highly recommend purchasing a few buckets per vehicle..
The ONLY downside I experienced was that this place ONLY DOES CASH TRANSACTIONS.. ABSOLUTELY NO CARDS!!!. And it's a little pricey considering, but the length of the trail kinda made the price worth it.. seems like it took forever to get all the way thru the path, but overall it was a fun experience
Had such an amazing time at Lazy 5 Ranch! The experience was absolutely wonderful. The animals were so friendly—and honestly, they kept asking for food the entire drive 😂 It made everything even more fun and interactive. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!
Even though it was chilly My kid and I had so much excitement about seeing and feeding all the animals it kept us warm. Our wagon driver (Daryl) was great at giving info and animal jokes throughout the whole time. Definitely a great weekend day getaway.
We came in from Colorado Springs and met my son and his family.
I have never been anywhere this cool in my travels. Where else can you go and drive your car and see, touch, feed and smell wildlife and livestock.
We opted not to do that since my son’s car is brand new and didn’t want any animals accidentally scratch his new car.
We mess a reservation for 1:00 and arrived an hour ahead of our time slot.
We started promptly at 1:00 and our tour guide was super friendly and informative.
I lost track of time but it was just an amazing day with my grandkids and son and daughter in law.
After the wagon tour we were able to see more animals and feed them.
