We recently visited KidCity from out of state and our kids absolutely loved it. From the outside, it looks pretty unassuming, but once you step inside, it’s packed with activities, play spaces, and thoughtfully designed themed areas. There is so much for kids to explore and engage with. What really stood out to me was how intentional and parent-friendly the space is. Every bathroom is stocked with an emergency kit that includes diapers, wipes, creams, and other essentials—something you truly appreciate when visiting with toddlers and babies. The basement level, which is reserved exclusively for crawling babies and children two years and under, was a huge highlight for us. My baby girl had an amazing time, and it felt safe, calm, and age-appropriate. The museum wasn’t overcrowded, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was fantastic. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to families with young children.

This museum is an absolute heaven for parents and toddlers. Each room has a clever theme and was very well designed. It kept my toddler entertained for several hours. I also really appreciated that they have a dedicated room for those under three, that was probably my little one's favorite room. Museum was very clean, parking was easy, and they had very spacious bathrooms/ family rooms. I also recommend stopping by their mini bookstore for some extra goodies. My one feedback is that it looks like they no longer offer memberships. That is unfortunate as I would have definitely signed up for one.

We started going to KidCity right after Covid, back when you had to book a time slot just to get in...and we’ve just kept going ever since. My daughter LOVES this place. Like full-on excitement, the second she sees the building. It’s super hands-on and the toddler area is clutch. The underwater room is her jam. She’ll just disappear into it, make random toddler friends, and live her best life while I hover nearby pretending I’m calm. The best part is I don’t have to worry about bigger kids running her over in that area- she gets her own space to explore without me stress-sprinting behind her. Bare feet, tiny slides, fake corn stalks… all of it. It’s chaos in a good way. For a while we were going every other month. Rainy days, winter days, “we need to get out of the house before everyone snaps” days. Worth it every time. We haven’t been recently but we’ll be back. If you have a small child with energy and no fear- KidCity is the move. 💥👶🌽

This is easily the most incredible children’s museum I’ve been to! Every detail is thoughtfully and imaginatively designed. Even the bathrooms impressed me— the tiny potty/sink and changing table setup couldn’t have been more perfect for me with a potty training toddler and a baby. My son and I haven’t stopped talking about how much fun we had there and I’ve told everyone I know with kids to plan a visit! Absolutely worth the 1.5 hour drive and I can’t wait to go back.

What a brilliantly designed museum. You're transported through towns and time. Kids have something to physically do in everything room. Tons of engineering energy. The museum also has a small book store for the littles too. Nice selection. ⭐ Wishing for a cafe component but I think play cafes have spoiled me. 🛂 Hoping it's a future stop on the CT Kids Passport.

Such a great play place. So artistic and great for imaginative play. The rooms are all different staged play places. A pirate ship, a store, a diner, a lake house, etc. With beautiful artistic flair. My kids and I are in love with going there. Great for ages 7 and under. We love it here! ❤️

My son is almost 6 years old and he's been obsessed with this place since he was 3. It's a totally unique place where there are many interesting rooms such as a mini theater with costumes, a camera and buttons to control the lighting, a mini market, a post office and a kitchen ...real taxi car that makes sounds, a fishing ship room where there is also an igloo, a castle room with many moving mechanism, and many other interesting rooms where children spend unforgettable moments. I highly recommend this place 👌
