We had a nice tram ride. The rides were from 10-2. Even though we were running late, got there at 1:50, the driver was very nice. We still did a 10 minute ride. He was very knowledgeable. Everything was so pretty. There's a nice Cafe inside and also a souvenir shop. The tickets are $12 for adults.

Visiting Memphis Botanic Garden was an experience that truly satisfied all of my senses. From the moment I entered, I was surrounded by the vibrant colors of blooming flowers, peaceful greenery, and beautifully designed gardens that immediately brought a sense of calm and joy. The sounds of birds singing, leaves rustling in the breeze, and water features flowing created such a peaceful atmosphere. The fragrance of fresh flowers and plants throughout the garden was absolutely refreshing and grounding. Even the feel of the warm sun, shaded pathways, and gentle breeze made the visit feel therapeutic. Every area of the garden offered something unique, inspiring, and beautiful. Whether you are looking for relaxation, reflection, exercise, photography opportunities, or simply a break from the stress of everyday life, this place delivers. Memphis Botanic Garden is truly a hidden gem that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit. I left feeling renewed, peaceful, and deeply appreciative of nature’s beauty.
I visited the Botanic Garden and really enjoyed the overall vibe. The garden has a slightly old, vintage feel to it, which gives it a unique charm. It’s not very large, but that actually adds to the experience—it feels more intimate and easy to walk through. What I liked most was how peaceful and relaxing it is. It’s a nice spot to unwind, take a quiet walk, and just enjoy nature for a bit. Overall, a calm and pleasant place, especially if you’re looking for something simple and serene.
Beautiful space, very nice people who work there, make sure to put on insect repellent, maybe have a little towel. If you sweat & Water. If You are a meditator or like to do grounding , perfect place. Take your time. And for twelve bucks , how could you go wrong
We visited the Memphis Botanic Garden for the Cherry Blossom Festival, and it was such a great experience. It was definitely busy, the front parking lot was completely full, so we ended up using the back lot, but it was very well organized with complimentary transportation to the entrance, which made things easy. Even with the crowd, the grounds are so spacious that it never felt overcrowded. There was plenty of room to walk around, relax, and enjoy everything. Honestly, it would have been the perfect place to set up a picnic and stay for hours. The flowers were absolutely stunning. Everything was in full bloom, and the tulips were especially beautiful. It really felt like the perfect time to visit. I loved the entire experience, and the best part was that my four year old had such a great time that he’s already asking to go back.
We love it here. The Big Backyard is my boys favorite. But we also like to walk through the ga4dens seeing all the flowers & plants. Feels like we're on our own little Wilderness Adventure each time. Weakness and birthday parties, concerts, events and enjoyed each one. Great relaxing laid-back spot.
As someone in the landscaping industry in the Memphis area, I visit the Memphis Botanic Garden frequently and always leave inspired. The 96-acre grounds with over 30 specialty gardens offer an incredible variety of plants, trees, and landscaping ideas—from the serene Japanese Garden and its red bridge to native plant displays, shade gardens, pollinator gardens, and the beautiful Magnolia Grove. I love walking the paths, studying different species, and picking up practical tips for my own projects. It’s the perfect blend of beauty, education, and tranquility right here in Memphis, TN. Whether you’re a professional or just enjoy beautiful gardens, this is a must-visit urban oasis. Highly recommend! Five stars for the exceptional plant collections and peaceful atmosphere.
This is my second time hosting my daughter’s birthday party at the Botanic Garden and each time has been a joy! I love that they provide activities for the children and engage with the. You also get to walk around the garden after your event has ended. If you’re looking for a low-lift and affordable place to host your kid’s birthday party, this is the place.
