Welcome to North Atwater Silverlake flea! Very excited (as a resident of North Atwater). Tips include, park around the Amazon facility and walk in. They say they have on site parking but I saw no one enter or exit via car while I was shopping. When we went they had a taco truck, a matcha stand and a guy with an espresso machine in his car. Vendors almost entirely clothes. No books and only one guy with "stuff." It gets hot on the macdam parking lot surface. Go early and double up with the Atwater Village farmers market after (great idea for a low stress first date for the fashion conscious object of your affection).
Found this artist called Versiliy at Silverlake Flea and omg the jewelry is made from real ocean algae.
It looks like something between wood and leather totally different from anything I’ve seen at markets. You can actually feel that it’s handmade, not factory stuff. LA art scene is alive here fr
The flop of this move and rebrand is so negatively iconic that it should be studied by scholars for years to come. Not only is the location horrible (by some church with extremists that keep honking and speeding to people heading to the flea and right off a dangerous 5 highway ramp - shouldn’t even be called or considered Atwater village) but the QUALITY OF THE SELLERS has gone so downhill it’s crazy. You’d think you’re at some no name flea market in Ontario or Covina. Silerlake flea as we knew it is sadly dead. 80% of the booths is just crap from AliExpress (sunglasses, jewelry, accessories) and clothes from SHEIN with their own labels added to them. Like are we really going to Silverlake flea to buy rebottled fake perfumes and dog collars? $1 Chinese sunglasses resold for $20? If there is “vintage” and this word is used lightly, it’s overpriced like they’re sitting on gold and absolutely crap quality. If someone knows where all the good vendors from the original location are now selling please let us know!!! I gave this place a chance the first 2 weekends although it was horrible with only 10-12 vendors and nobody around, but now my 3rd weekend there and it being the worst so far I have to just accept that it’s over.
Loved the vibe. Felt like I was in my own closet filled with youngins. I'm a mom of 9. It was cute to see them kids excited over clothing of my past. Didn't buy much but jewelry & charms from a nice lady. Overall a nice experience for our 1st visit. The only downfall, no parking. My husband had to wait for me in the gas station parking lot. 😬
Do they make enough profit? How cheap is their rented booth? Many are non-stolen items but priced for quick sale. They often buy by the truckload or spilled cargo near Union Station. Lol. At times, they just want to go home with less items, less weight, so they offer lowest price near closing, rare but happened, they just give you for free, free-flee, sort of flea market happy ending.
This cute vintage flea market is on Saturday and Sundays. Prices are reasonable for most vendors, while others are a bit pricy.. Such fun and unique ensembles that are perfect for raves! There are also jewelry, candle and refreshment/snack stands. Definitely will be going back!

★★★★☆Located in a small parking lot. Vendors were well stocked large array of vintage clothing. A few vendors offered crafts and small decorate pieces. Prices were moderate to a little high. Parking is very limited in the immediate surrounding area. You may have to park a block or two away for free parking. Mask are required to enter. Admission is free.
Score! This vintage travel case was $50. These sunglasses- $20. Art deco sculpture- $120. It's usually more HIT than miss here. Beware: it's crawling with hipsters!
