It was my first time here and it was wonderful. Smaller place but has everything you need. The salt room is amazing and i loved the one w the clay balls. My scrub/massage was great too. Sky was very skillful. Food was tasty (it would be great if the amazing lady in the kitchen had help at least for the drinks). I'll be back🌻

This spa is everything. It’s the therapy every woman needs. It’s clean, quiet, and the staff is adorable, kind and sweet. The food they serve is delicious and made in front of you by a lovely chef. I can’t say how this spa has benefited my mental health. It’s more than pampering it’s a little bubble full of positive feminine energy. Every time I've gone the women were always mindful and speaking quietly even when there were large groups.
One of the receptionists who I booked my appt with on the phone and who checked me in was super nice. The one when I was leaving was alright, not overly nice. The place is super clean and they seem like they're constantly maintaining it, which is great. You take your shoes off once you leave the reception area. I did see two women who had put their shoes next to them at the area with mirrors, blow dryers, lotion, etc. I wish they would enforce not having any shoes down on the floor in that area because not really fair for the rest of us walking around barefoot. They show you to your locker and you put your stuff in there and fully undress and put on there cute pink robes. You can explore the diff rooms (Himalayan salt, near infared magnetic, clay, jade steam, etc) before or after your appointments depending on when you get there. They suggest you arrive 15-30 mins before the appt so you can check in and settle in. There's food you can order but looks like only on weekends. I went on a Wednesday and had called to request an appointment for a massage and facial. They were able to book me for a couple hours later. I got a 60 min Swedish massage. They massage you with a sheet covering your body for the first half and then oil massage without the sheet for second half. I would've preferred oil massage the whole time, so I'm glad I know for next time. The 60 min hydrating facial was nice and relaxing. The esthetician would spread stuff on my face then use tools to massage it around, sometimes with the steam machine on. I was so relaxed / didn't get enough sleep the previous night so fell asleep lolol. When I woke up there was a mask fully on my face. Not sure how long that portion is. I think I'd go back and try to facial that has milk and honey. The rooms were cool to go in as I'd never been to a jjimjilbang before. You have to be naked for the shower room which includes the hot mineral tub, an area where you can pour mugwort water on yourself, and the scrubs. But otherwise, the remaining rooms you wear your robe. There's free parking in the lot. They don’t offer a birthday discount. Worth a shot asking though heh. I believe Queen Bee in Culver City gives you 10% off for your birthday month.
I used to come here regularly back when I was still living in LA, so walking into Hugh Spa yesterday after years away brought an overwhelming wave of nostalgia and tears to my eyes. Since moving away, I’ve deeply missed having a quiet healing space to truly recharge, reconnect, and reset — and Hugh Spa is still the only place that consistently delivers that experience with such a high standard of care, service, and comfort. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for from the moment I arrived. I especially enjoyed my conversations with Susan and Sandra, as well as the owner — or at least I believe she was the owner. Everyone was so warm and kindhearted. I also want to recognize the cleaning staff, who work tirelessly throughout the day to keep the spa spotless and peaceful. You can truly see the pride they take in their work, and it does not go unnoticed. If you’re looking for a place to spend a day loving and caring for yourself, this is the ultimate sanctuary. Thank you to every single one of you for creating such a healing and nurturing environment. I leave with immense love and gratitude in my heart, and I cannot wait to come back and visit again.
Had the most amazing time here. Second time here and can’t wait to come back. Got a spa package and felt reborn afterwards - the body scrub is intense but so worth it. Make an appt and Come 30 min before so you can soak in the salt bath and steam sauna before your treatment!! All the spa facilities are included in the price of most treatments!!! So amazing!!!!
As a loyal customer for the past five years, I can confidently say HUGH Spa is the best Korean spa in Los Angeles. I’ve been to nearly every Korean spa in LA, as well as spas in Korea, and HUGH is by far the calmest, cleanest, and highest-quality experience I’ve had. The facility is consistently spotless, the scrubs are excellent, and the amenities feel authentic and thoughtfully maintained, from the salt tub and mugwort steam to the salt room, clay ball room, and cold room. For the price, the quality is exceptional. I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews. As someone who has been here close to a hundred times, I can say this place is truly a special women’s only sanctuary. Five stars, over and over again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was my first time venturing out to a new K spa in LA and I enjoyed Hugh. This woman’s only spa feels small but mighty, with a decent amount of amenities. The ladies who run the spa are very sweet. I got a body, facial & shampoo package, which was great value for the price. (admission price is waived when you purchase a service) A few tips before you go: they don’t offer slippers so bring your own clean shower shoes if you don’t want to walk around barefoot in the common areas. The parking lot is tight and packed so pad some extra time to find street parking in case. If you pay in cash you get free face masks (also bring cash for tip). I’m not sure how the food tastes but the yuzu slush I got was fantastic. Super refreshing and the perfect balance of not-too-sweet or bitter. Had a rejuvenating time here and would recommend.
Very clean, welcoming, and professional. The massage relieved all my stress and muscle tension. Highly recommend!”
