Wilshire Center Dental Group

I visited Wilshire Center Dental Group for a scheduled dental cleaning. My appointment was at 10:30 am, and by 10:50 am the cleaning was already finished, which felt extremely rushed. The cleaning was done by an Asian male dentist (I don’t recall his name). The procedure consisted only of manual tools, flossing, and a mouth rinse. No ultrasonic cleaning and no polishing were performed. After leaving the room, I could clearly feel that my teeth were still dirty. I went to the bathroom, checked, and there was visible plaque still present, especially on the inner surfaces of my lower teeth. I returned to the dentist to point this out, and he told me that this was “normal,” without re-examining or correcting the cleaning. I took photos immediately after the appointment, which clearly show the remaining plaque. What made the experience worse was the dismissive and condescending attitude I received when I raised my concern. I genuinely felt treated as if I were ignorant for questioning the quality of the cleaning. As a Latino patient and someone using Medi-Cal insurance, I couldn’t help but feel that my concerns were not taken seriously. This is concerning, because many patients may leave thinking their mouth is clean when it is not. A dental cleaning should leave teeth smooth and visibly clean, not with plaque still present. I would not recommend this clinic if you are looking for a thorough, professional dental cleaning or respectful patient care. I strongly suggest people stay away and consider other dental offices that take proper time and care with their patients.

Have been here twice, with a couple years in between visits. I can definitely say everyone I've encountered here was very kind. This office is like a well oiled machine and appointments run on time, which is appreciated. Clean space and comfortable. I would def recommend. Ample parking in rear of building, for a couple bucks and is secure. I look forward to my next visit bec of the positive experiences i have had here. I don't have horrific teeth issues, so I've only had cleanings, but i need a crown and will do it here.

I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found this dental office.. Finally a dentist I can trust, who does an excellent job and does not try to upsell you me for any procedures or services that are not needed. It is so difficult in this city to find a dentist to trust. I could not recommend this office, dentist and staff more. They are kind, caring, considerate- Top notch!

The service is excellent. I was able to go for a walk-in emergency visit within one hour of calling the Wilshire Center Dental Group. I am very pleased that they resolved my dental problem waiting less than 1 hour. My family has come here for years. I already referred some friends because of the great service.

My overall experience with the entire Wilshire Dental office was superior and started with the first call to make an appointment. After they confirmed our insurance, they quickly booked appointment. As soon as we arrived, we were moved into the exam room. After x-rays and exam, we met with Dr Justin Rubin to review his plan. My grandson hadn't seen a dentist in years and had a mouthful of cavities and broken teeth, so the plan was very extensive. I was expecting him to recommend full mouth implants, but Dr Rubin was confident he could save most of his teeth with crowns. The staff worked to get all the appointments booked quickly to start treatment. it's been about 6 weeks, and my grandson looks wonderful and is completely without pain. Dr Rubin is a miracle worker! The staff have always been helpful and flexible in working on the schedule. I would highly recommend Wilshire Center Dental group for any dental services. I'll be coming back for all my care.

The best dentist I’ve ever had! I’ve been a loyal patients for over 10 years! The Dentist and staff are great. I love that this building that caters to adults, children and to patients who want to get braces and other orthodontic work.

I’ve been a patient for over 5 years and had another nice visit today. I was admitted promptly on arrival, staff was friendly, and Dr. Rubin was also kind, friendly, and did a thorough examination to address my mild pain concerns. I did need to wait 20-30 minutes for the cleaning afterward by another dentist, but it was gentle and effective. Thank you to all the staff!

Wilshire Center Dental Group is he best place to go for your Dental work. My Doctor Dr. Silverio and staff are awesome in a good way. I'm so pleased with all the work I've had done there since 2016.
