Hi I cannot justify this place for what I craved for the surreal food spiced to perfection. I can’t explain. It’s my first best ever South Indian meal and now I understood the food in southern India is an absolute bliss. Fluffy Idlis combined with Sambar and Vada curry to be mentioned are the best ever I tried.Today Sunday evening was crowed but still they did not fail to deliver the authentic food with consistency with love and respect!

This place was absolutely amazing! The food was full of flavor, fresh, and honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Their HOC Chicken Dosa was mind-blowing — something completely unique and unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. The combination of flavors and textures was just perfect. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again. Highly recommend checking it out!
Food is tasty. I am impressed with the quantity of the thali, it was not too much and not too little. It was perfect for one person. Kothu parota was tasty and their mocktails were nice as well. Paneer tikka is must try, the paneer was very soft and juicy although the quantity might seem less. The service was fast. On a Saturday afternoon it gets super crowded so plan to arrive early for lunch. Overall, would definitely recommend a visit.
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was impeccable. Every person there made sure to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed! Will definitely be back and recommending it to everyone I know!
House of Chettinad is one of those rare dining experiences that stays with you long after the meal is over! As I’m writing this review in my car so everything is fresh on my mind. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that House of Chettinad is a heartfelt celebration of family, culture, and tradition. The owner and chef took the time to explain that many of the dishes are inspired by his childhood and the meals he cherished growing up with his family. There is something incredibly special about sharing food that carries generations of memories, and it felt like an honor to experience those treasured family recipes firsthand with someone I love dearly. Every dish was authentic, beautifully prepared, and absolutely incredible. The flavors were vibrant, layered, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant. You can taste the passion, history, and pride in every dish. What truly elevated the experience was the hospitality. The staff and kitchen team are genuinely invested in guiding guests through an unforgettable South Asian culinary journey. Whether you're familiar with the cuisine or trying it for the first time, they make you feel welcomed, informed, and excited to explore new flavors. If you're looking for an authentic dining experience in Leander that combines exceptional food, meaningful storytelling, and warm hospitality, House of Chettinad is a must-visit.
Hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in a long time! Visited with a group of 7 friends, and even with a large table, the food came out incredibly fast and piping hot. We started with the spectacular Curry Leaf Cauliflower, followed by the Chicken Lollipop and Bhatinda Murgh Tandoori Chicken—all of which packed an amazing flavor punch and vanished quickly. For the mains, the Chicken Kothu Parotta was a massive crowd favorite, and both the Mutton Dindigul Biryani and Kurunthampattu Chicken Biryani were incredibly aromatic, authentic, and rich. We finished it all off with the Chocolate Mango Delight for a perfect sweet ending. Phenomenal flavors, lightning-fast service, and an awesome vibe for groups. Highly recommend!
Our first time at House of Chettinad was a good one! The service was excellent, very attentive and informative. The ambiance was spacious and neat. The food was great (and spicy) we had chicken biriyani. There wasn’t a long wait for the food either. If you like Indian food, this is the place to be
First Impression Walking into House of Chettinad felt like stepping straight into traditional Tamil Nadu. The earthy tones, kolam-designed ceiling, pillars, soothing music, and vibrant yet elegant wall art instantly created a calm, temple-like vintage vibe. A beautifully designed space that truly sets the mood. Food & Drinks We ordered the veg thali, clearly marked as a limited portion, but pleasantly discovered (thanks to Krishna) that three items can be refilled—something not mentioned on the menu. The thali was delicious and perfectly sufficient for one person. The sweet was especially a highlight—ended up getting a refill just for that! We also tried paratha with chicken Chettinad curry. The chicken was incredibly soft, and the curry was rich and flavorful. Service & Ambience Special mention to Krishna for guiding us through the menu and enhancing our experience. The ambience is the real star—calming, authentic, and deeply rooted in culture. You don’t just dine here, you feel the place. Final Verdict A soulful dining experience with authentic flavors and a stunning ambience. Definitely worth visiting again! Score: 4/5 ⭐
