My experience with DTN Management and 42 West Apartments was one of the most frustrating rental experiences I've had. During our two years there, hallways frequently smelled of marijuana which carried into our unit, noise complaints were routinely ignored, and common areas were often dirty and poorly maintained. Safety and maintenance were also ongoing concerns. We moved into a unit with visibly rotted wood on the patio which is a huge risk on the second floor, and later an improperly installed washing machine caused flooding inside our apartment. Perhaps most concerning was the lack of transparency regarding a shooting that occurred on the property. Residents received only a vague email referencing an "unfortunate incident" despite the seriousness of the situation. The problems continued through move-out. Before terminating our lease early, I worked directly with Christina and followed every instruction provided. We submitted all paperwork on time and received written confirmation regarding payment deadlines. Despite this, DTN incorrectly charged us additional rent after our approved move-out date. When we disputed the charge, Christina assured us it would be corrected and that we would receive follow-up communication. That never happened. After nearly two months of unanswered follow-ups, I contacted DTN's corporate office. When I explained the situation and disputed the security deposit deduction, Debbie's only repeated response was simple: "Nothing is going to change. File a lawsuit.", which was very unprofessional. That response perfectly summarizes my experience with DTN—poor communication, poor accountability, and little concern for residents once a problem arises. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a DTN-managed property to thoroughly explore other options before signing a lease.

I currently live in a DTN Management community (Stone Falls), and I truly couldn’t be happier. The apartment is spacious, the amenities are well‑maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels welcoming and community‑oriented. My neighbors and the staff are very friendly, which makes it feel like home. The team here is wonderful—maintenance is always quick and responsive, and the leasing manager, Jonah, is exceptional! He’s always available to answer questions, offer support, and go above and beyond in every interaction. I’m genuinely grateful for this community and the people who make it such a great place to live!

I've lived at a DTN community for almost 16 years. There is a reason I haven't moved - the people who work here and the service and care they provide residence. The office staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive to questions. They know their residents and do their best to take care of folks. The maintenance team is unmatched - quick to response to service requests and also provide great information about what is happening with whatever needs to be fixed, what needs to be fixed, and an estimated timeline that is right on target. The maintenance team & everyone also very responsible with pets in the home. I know if someone has to enter to complete something when I'm not here, all my animals will be safe and content when I get home. It's a quiet, safe community with a great location. Thank you to all the DTN staff for always doing the best by your residents!

I have been living at The Linden for about 6 months now and I LOVE it. The space is GREAT! It’s quiet, peaceful and in the best location I could imagine. My favorite part about living in The Linden is the staff and cast and crew that I get to interact with. Anytime there is a problem which is not often I know I can reach out to Jaren and he is going to go above and beyond to help remedy whatever is going on. He is quick to respond and or delegate and he is also very kind and attentive. 10/10 all around. Would highly recommend moving here if you get the chance; although I won’t be going anywhere!

I have lived at Stone Falls of Ada for the past two years (going on three), and I truly can’t imagine renting anywhere else. The location is fantastic, and the community has great access to nature, which makes living here even more enjoyable. What really makes this place special, though, is our leasing manager, Jonah VandenBussche. Jonah is incredibly personable and genuinely cares about the residents. He goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and fun community at Stone Falls. He regularly organizes social events at the clubhouse that bring neighbors together and make it easy to connect with others, which is something you don’t see everywhere. Jonah’s energy, dedication, and effort truly make a difference and are a huge part of why living at Stone Falls is such a great experience. If you’re looking for a place to live, I would absolutely recommend checking out Stone Falls of Ada!

I was impressed by how helpful and communicative Connor, the leasing agent, was. He went out of his way to communicate upcoming apartment vacancies in advance, detailed descriptions of the units, and generally providing thorough answers to any questions I had. I really appreciated his help during my apartment search, which helped make the process much easier! In my experience, many leasing agents are not as attentive.

I worked with Pearl when I was searching for an apartment downtown. She was extremely knowledgeable with the property and helpful answering my questions. What impressed me most was her professionalism and follow up. She did a great job overall!
