I highly recommend this place. A word of advice if you want a good job 👏 done you have to be patient it took them a little but the results was excellent car wash 🧼 in Houston 🤌🏻 simply wonderful so please let’s be decent human beings and leave them a tip let’s not be complete jarks who demand spotless cars without leaving a nice gratuity 🫶🏻
This is how I picked up my car after paying 30 dollars they tried to upsell me a 200 dollar car wash and I’m so glad I didn’t pay that because the basic option that they had that promised an interior wipe down and vacuum and it doesn’t even look like they did that. They used to do a way better job and I would come all the time I don’t know what happened. But I could’ve gone to a self service place and done a better job in less than a few minutes
I was coming to this car wash for 20 years but moved away. Recently moved back to Summerwood and drove all the way to get my truck cleaned. It had lots of dog hair in the back and I bought the Captains package after discussing it and reviewing the condition with the intake employee who scoped the job. The truck was ready quickly but they completely missed an area on the back seat where there was a lot of loose dog hair now vacuumed. I asked the cleaner to redo the area and he refused. He tried to feed me some BS about the difficulty of removal. It was loose dog hair ! In better times they would have rectified their mistake in about five minutes. When the intake employee came to remove the tag I explained the situation to him and told him why I would never return again. He didn’t seem to care either. I guess this is how the roll now, with employees who don’t care about doing the job well and rectifying any mistakes quickly. The old Pirates Cove would have done so. But this is not the same place anymore, sadly they lost my business.
I used to love this place so much I did the membership. Now everytime it is something that isnt clean. The latest was dirty spots on every side of my car so much that I took it elsewhere to rewash it since they were closing. My car is white so it isnt like they could see them or I am being nit picky.
Went on a Monday. They were not busy. Sold me the $60 fast detail as I wanted the floor mats sprayed off (they are all weather so no shampooing needed). I was told it would be almost two hours but they were done 40 minutes early, so did they even do everything!?!
When I came out they showed me how they got one of my passenger seat belts all twisted and locked up, so I’ll have to take it to dealership cause I can’t get it undone.
And the car was still dirty! Didn’t even look like they vacuumed the seats. The backs of the seats still had smudges that came right off with a baby wipe so not sure they even conditioned the leather which is even included in the cheaper packages. I’m not sure there was any “detailing” and I paid full price. After they saw me taking pictures they ended up coming over and going back over a few things but it was overall disappointing.
Also I just feel like these places use the same dirty rag over and over, do they even rinse it out or are they just pushing the dirt all around?
They did a great job. Wait is not too long but I came in the early morning. I would imagine the weekends are a longer wait. Tues and Wed are half price wash.
I am not the type of person who complains about small details, and if the service was bad, I'll just keep quiet and never come back. This comment is to advise you to check your car thoroughly before leaving, especially the windows. I don't know what kind of liquid they accidentally sprayed on my windshield, but I've never been able to clean it off, even though we've cleaned it inside and out with special liquids. I didn't notice when they finished my car. It wasn't until the windows fogged up and... surprise! There were smears on the windshield. I know that ceasing to be a customer won't drive this place into poverty, and my comment won't fix my window. Still, I hope it serves as a warning to someone else!
I have been going there for years they have always done a very good job. The prices are competitive. The staff is very nice. The waiting area is clean and nice.
