H-E-B plus!

The bakery exceeded my expectations! When I called to order the cake, I explained I bought rubber duck shaped candles and wanted the cake to look like they were floating on water. The female associate (I‘m regretting not taking her name down) who took the order understood my vision and ran with it! I think this is our cutest birthday cake ever. I’ve been shopping here for years and have never had a negative experience. Thanks HEB!

I’ve been shopping at for years and usually have great experiences, but I need to address an ongoing issue that has not been resolved. For the past six months, there has been a “Special Kitty Gems” promotion advertised in-store. The promotion is displayed throughout the store, and when you check out, the register even prints out coupons related to it. However, neither the printed coupons nor the digital coupons that are scanned will work at checkout. They consistently fail every time. We are in the store every single day, so this has happened multiple times — not just once. Just this week alone, we have asked more than once for the issue to be fixed or for the coupon to be honored, and it still has not been resolved. Each time we bring it to the attention of staff, we’re told “sorry, there’s nothing we can do,” and the coupons are not honored. It is extremely frustrating to have a promotion advertised in the store, have coupons automatically printed at checkout, and then be told they cannot be used. If a promotion is being actively promoted and the system is generating coupons for it, customers should be able to rely on it working — or at the very least have it honored when the system fails. Six months is not a minor technical glitch. I’m hoping management will either correct the issue immediately or remove the promotion entirely so customers are not continually misled at checkout. I value shopping here, but this ongoing issue needs to be addressed.

The floral team is top tier 10/10 they do it all from funerals to weddings you name.

Apart from the usual positive grocery shopping experiences over the last two years since I started coming here, today’s experience, especially, compelled me to leave this good review. I was distractedly getting groceries with my toddler and somehow dropped my wallet at some point between checking out and getting to the car. I didn’t notice until I got home and rushed back in a borderline panic. One of the managers, Jenny, had turned it in, and Emma from customer service located it in their lost and found. 10 minutes after I called their customer service, my wallet was returned to me in sealed key-control packaging with all the contents present. I’m incredibly grateful, and since they wouldn’t accept any more tangible form of reward from me by way of thanks, this review and a great deal of customer loyalty, and watching for any opportunities to reciprocate are the best I could think of. Thank you!!

HEB will always be the best when it comes to selection, freshness, price and friendliness. However, their curbside service needs some work. I'm not sure it happens when they are too busy or the people they have working but almost every ordered I've placed in the last month ir two, has an item missing. Usually it's small things I can just except a refund but items like a bag of talapia or Dove all body spray are expensive and items I'd like to have, not refunded. I was that person who thought curbside was unnecessary and that no one could pick your groceries like you can...well I'm going back to that mindset bc I have yet to hear from customer service regarding the latest saga of the missing item. There has to be a system in place that can show if the employee picked all of the items in the order and then someone check that they are placing the items in the correct customer's bag. They say don't get out of the car but if I'm feeling well next time, I'm conducting a full on inventory. Prices too high to be missing items and are still charged for them.

Everything is so easy to find in the store. They always have a variety of products. I went in to buy some ground meat and ended up getting other things as well.

I was looking for a lanyard for my glasses and asked a question to an heb employee today on a whim and surprisingly he ran me down a few minutes later. He told me that they did sell the item and what aisle it was on. I really didn't think they carried it. Normally not happy with the customer service at this store because they allow third party solicitors, however, this was awesome!! I bought one and will buy more in the future. Thank you 😊

After relocating to Texas, this store quickly became my favorite. However, I do wish they carried more products from Europe 🇪🇺 I also wish they stocked dill, which I have never seen there before. Additionally, I believe the store employees or security should be more attentive. I witnessed two male customers behaving inappropriately by walking around, eating fruit, and littering without any intervention from the staff. I brought this to the attention of an employee, who assured me they would inform management. Unfortunately, the men caught wind of my complaint and promptly left the store. On October 14, 2025, we bought a grapefruit for $3.98. The next day, we cut it open and were horrified! Rotten! I've uploaded a photo. $4 wasted! I highly recommend not buying pomegranates from this store. I also want to tell management: check what you're selling!
