This park is truly a hidden gem! I can’t believe I didn’t discover it sooner, but I’ll definitely be returning again soon. It’s a wonderful destination for the whole family—the kids will have a blast, and the easy walking paths make it accessible for elderly visitors as well. The picnic areas are excellent, with plenty of shade and beautiful views overlooking the water. The park is home to a variety of animals and wildlife, and the gardens and plant displays are well-maintained and clearly labeled. Most of the walking trails are flat and paved, with scenic bridges throughout the park. One of the highlights is being able to feed the turtles! Best of all, admission is completely free. It feels like a mini zoo with so much to see and do, making it a perfect outing for visitors of all ages.

Most excellent walk around the park and animal rescue and conservation. A beautiful day to visit and we had a good day. Really enjoyed the lotus pond and the serenity sitting there. Lots of animals to visit while there. They were out and active so we observed black bear, eagle, owls and so much more. Well kept park with lots of parking.

This place is awesome too take kids and toddlers to. There is a walking trail with exhibits/wildlife in their habitats foxes, bear, coyotes, owls, hawks, turtles and more. You can feed the ducks, turtles, and fish with feed provided by handfuls for a quarter. Be sure to take quarters and don’t forget to make a donation. They also have some farm animals, picnic tables and bike trails

Never new this place was here. We had a baby shower for my daughter in law there. The venue was awesome. Plenty seating and tables (all included). Kitchen was clean and also included with venue. The best part is plenty of free activities for kids. Walking trails. Zoo and wildlife animals on site wowed my grandsons. Very very nice location. Staff was awesome.

Wanted to take my grandkids on a hike while in town visiting, found this place and decided to give it a try. What a nice surprise! Beautiful trails, lots of animals, a playground, and all free unless you'd like to leave a donation. They even have book exchange. The kids had a blast!
