We visited the aquarium in Idaho Falls again today, and it honestly caught me off guard emotionally. Years ago, we took a photo in almost this exact same spot before life took us in different directions. Since then, there’s been moving, growing, change, stress, new adventures, and a whole lot of life in between. Coming back and recreating that moment years later just felt… special. The aquarium itself is wonderful for families. The kids loved exploring, watching the fish, and pointing out every creature they could find. The staff was kind, everything was clean, and the atmosphere was calm and fun. But for us, it became more than just an aquarium visit. It became one of those rare moments where time seems to overlap for a second. You look at your kids and suddenly see both the little version of them from years ago and the person they’re becoming now. Really grateful for places and moments like this. ❤️

One of the best aquariums I’ve ever visited! There were tons of interactive exhibits. We saw a super friendly raccoon, plenty of fish, sharks, rays, and lizards. Feed tokens were 4 for $10 and made the visit even more fun! We ended up feeding the rays, lizards, and sturgeons. I love that the place was super clean, the animals appeared well cared for and there was plenty of handwashing stations throughout.

Quaint little aquarium that had a surprising amount of exhibits. I liked the mantis shrimp, dr. fish, Goliath bird eating tarantula, the huge nurse shark, and dart frogs. Plus all the different parrots and iguanas. Thoroughly enjoyed, worth the small entry fee. Only downside was all the advertising of sponsors, but I guess it's expensive to run all they have there.

The place is amazing to visit, all the fun different looking fish and animals they have available. The only drawback is if you come later in the day, the more likely the feed is all gone and the fish don’t want to eat no more… we still got to spend our tokens on the porcupine but we didn’t get to feed the stingrays :( . Make sure to come earlier in the day.

We had an awesome experience here both adults and kids enjoyed a lot. There are lots of hands-on activities, such as touching or feeding the fishes and animals. They are even a sandbox! I also heard you can do a diving experience in the Shark Tank for only $50. I really wish I had more time here. We were told that this aquarium is going to expand and they have more animals, I’ll definitely come back!

While its not the biggest aquarium, its got some great interactive features for kids and families to enjoy! From feeding the exotic fish big and small, budgies, iguanas and even their porcupine Rufus, there is a little bit of something for any animal lover and it's a lot more hands on than the zoo even, which is great for kids! I love the sloth and the variety found in one place! And the cleaning shrimp and nibble fish are always a win in my book. Sometimes they even have handlers out with specific animals if you ate lucky and you will get a cool wildlife experience like seeing the sloth up close or the camian that lives next door is over for a visit!! (THAT GUY IS HUGE NOW?!?) Which is why there isn't one in the enclosure now btw, but maybe there will be another someday! The sandbox at the end is also fun! And sometimes they have guests and wonderful themed set ups for holidays (the starwars christmas had us chuckling). I also like reading up on all the info on the creatures which they now have included scan codes so you can stay up to date with them if any info has been updated with new discoveries about the species! If there was anything to improve (I definitely know its hard to keep up with maintenance of sinks and such on top of the animals and the enclosures so that seemed fair) it would be maybe hacing a schedule for feeding times and when certain encounters with certain animals will be available? Unless there is one on the site and I just missed it!

Nice little aquarium. I would call it a hidden gem. Had exhibits that people could interact with the animals. Worth the visit.
