I’ve been going to this mechanic for years, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. They’ve worked on all three of my vehicles over time, handling everything from routine oil changes and inspections to brake repairs, checkups, and even major transmission work. Every single job has been done with care, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail. What really sets them apart is their consistency and honesty. They take the time to explain what’s going on, never push unnecessary work, and always make sure I feel confident and informed before moving forward. Their customer service is just as impressive as their technical skill—friendly, responsive, and genuinely focused on helping rather than upselling. It’s rare to find a mechanic you can truly trust, and after years of outstanding service, this is the only place I take my vehicles. I have taken my vehicles to YHS Automotive several times now. I initially decided to give them a try because they are very close to my house and because of all the glowing reviews online. My main goal has been to find a reliable mechanic that can work on my vehicles without the exorbitant price point of the dealership. Overall, every experience I’ve had with the employees here has been nothing less than pleasant. Joey, in particular, is an utmost professional — friendly, courteous, and communicative. He consistently provides updates and detailed explanations regarding my vehicle and genuinely makes me feel valued as a customer. That level of customer service speaks volumes about the culture and professionalism of the shop. Unfortunately, that level of service comes at a cost. In a nutshell, I have taken my vehicles here four-five times, and each visit has resulted in a bill of no less than $1,500. Even for relatively simple repairs, the pricing has felt very close to dealership-level rates. While I understand that owning and maintaining a Mercedes is not cheap, there comes a point where it becomes difficult to justify spending thousands simply to maintain an older vehicle. One of the primary reasons I stopped going to the dealership was because I felt I was overpaying, only to encounter very similar pricing here. Additionally, YHS does not appear to have the software necessary to calibrate or program certain vehicle components, which still leaves me needing to visit the dealership for some repairs. While this is a relatively minor gripe, it is frustrating considering the pricing and my desire to find a true one-stop shop outside of the dealership network. Overall, I highly value the professionalism, reliability, and friendliness of the staff here, but the pricing is becoming difficult for me to justify long term. At this point, I am on the fence about whether I will continue returning or begin exploring other options in the future.

I’ve been going to YHS for a while now to get my oil changed and they never disappoint!!! I recently got my oil changed, and the employees were very nice and efficient! Unfortunately I was going through something at the time and I was emotionally unstable and visibly upset, but the employees made sure that I was doing ok. Joey had come in the waiting room while I was mid breakdown and had to let me know that they found a leak. He was concerned for my mental wellbeing, but I told him not to worry about it and he told me everything they had found out about my leak, gave me tissues because I was crying, and sent photos of the hose to my dad. He set me up with an appointment for the next day and I was all set! I walk in the next day, and Joey was there and the first thing he asked was if I was feeling better. This shows that the employees at YHS care about their customers, not just their cars! I had to drop off my car, so my mom was going to pick me up, but she hadn’t arrived yet, so Joey helped me by booking a Lyft for me and I was able to get home soon after! My car was fixed the next day and they replaced 2 hoses that had leaks. I really appreciate Joey and the YHS team for being super helpful during this time. I also loved how they had Colossians 3:12-15 on their whiteboard because that truly captured how the YHS employees treat their customers.

If you have the option to go to any auto shop, I am imploring you to go here! Great service, better rates, and wonderful people working there. Frank and Eric helped me figure out what was wrong with my car and what I need to keep my Honda going forward. I previously brought my car to a dealership to get my diagnostic done for my car. They quoted me about $2500 for one fix, YHS quoted me $2400 for 4 repairs to my vehicle (3 of which the other dealership never caught!) I went to the shop hoping for a step up from the other dealership and instead I got the best service I have ever gotten for my car. Thank you YHS team! :)

YHS Automotive does everything from oil changes to major repairs. They even fix issues that other shops and dealerships misdiagnose or foul up. One thing I love about this shop is that you get the whole shop involved in your repair if needed - their techs talk to each other and share their experience in order to fix you right up! Differential diagnosis leads to consensus, which means you have a greater chance to fix your problem the first time. Now that's solidarity in motion! Another thing I love is they are not out to make a quick buck and burn a bridge. They help you PRIORITIZE repairs and maintenance instead of trying to shove a bunch of services down your throat. They give me the information and power to make an educated financial decision. I believe this is the place you come to in order to get the truth, without fluff or BS. The advisors work hard too, I've overheard conversations in which they emphasize taking a free visual look to determine if you even need repairs or validate another shop's claim. Car repair is often anxiety ridden. But one thing for certain is that YHS Automotive will do everything needed (and then some) to make sure you're fixed up long term. That peace of mind of dealing with honest, straight shooters alone is worth its weight in gold. I get why they have such a sterling reputation. Keep standing out, YHS Automotive! 🚗

First time here. Immediate reception as I walked in, and they had my online reservation pulled up as I walked in. I guess they figured it out by my car. That was a pleasant surprise. They called me back when they said they would. Another pleasant surprise Called again an hour before closing asking if they could keep the vehicle overnight, not assumed they would. I did have several repairs to do. Yet another pleasant surprise The next day they called when they said they would and was ready to pick up. I have not had a service advisor call me when promised both from regular shops nor high end dealerships in DECADES. Frank and the rest of the team of service advisors are top notch. I truly appreciated the customer focus and would recommend to anyone

Great place . Mechanics are super knowledgable and price is too good. My car - Nissan Sentra - had intermittant starter issue and the workshop near my home told 3K for repair cost and here it was only 1/3 rd of the earlier cost. Gilmar was superb and he fixed my Key FOB lock issue too by doing some research over search. Pretty much recommended to anyone!! Thank you!!

The service was great. Explanation of estimate easy to understand. Had the technician explain in detail what was needed. Overall great experience. Not what I am used to having from an automotive repair shop. My service advisor, Gilmar, communicated so that I was not left wondering what was going. I was included every step of the way.
