My grandparents lived on the Blvd and Papa was a charter member, #160. Many a great time enjoyed with friends and family including yesterday for a celebration of Dan Moody's Jr's life. I'd known him since the early 70's as he was a very good friend of my father. Same River Oaks high standards, charm and grace. Rest in Peace gentleman!

I thoroughly enjoyed the US Men's Clay Court Championships. I am not a member, but I always look forward to this week of tennis.

I went there to attend a professional tennis tournament. This is a top of the line, very elite club for tennis and golf. I would guess that such a beautiful club comes with a equally beautiful price. Check your bank account before you check out this club.

I attended a luncheon meeting/ presentation here this week. The Main Street up to the club house was very eye appealing. Beautiful landscape in the road median. The clubhouse was enormous and well appointed. Very nice upkeep. The presentation hall was grand, the food was nicely prepared and the service was tops.

Love coming here every year for the Clay Court Championship! They update it every year and this past one was the best yet! The overhaul of the entire event was amazing! Sad that the championship falls on Easter this year so we will not be able to attend. The one thing that needs updating are the stands. They are very tight and not comfortable at all; hardly any leg room.

The grounds were beautiful. Everyone was polite and helpful, and the matches that were attended were not disappointing. We will return!!

However, a more inclusive and down-to-earth approach could enhance the experience for everyone.
