Magick Cauldron

Did not spend a whole lot of time here, because I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but definitely could see myself spending a lot more time here browsing through their books, jewelry, tarot card collections. Found some beautiful stones & crystals to take home & look forward to returning in the future for more items!

I had a very disappointing experience with the ring service at The Magick Cauldron. The woman helping us was extremely rude from the start. She kept demanding to know my ring size over and over instead of offering to measure it or simply helping. When we asked to see different rings, she acted like we were doing something wrong. She kept saying we had too many trays out, even though she was the one bringing them. Each time we asked to see another tray she gave an audible sigh and seemed irritated that we were even looking. She was also cursing under her breath and complaining about “having to do her job,” which was uncomfortable to hear as customers standing right there. It honestly felt like she assumed we were going to steal something rather than treating us like normal customers. Because of the constant impatience and pressure from her, we ended up making a rushed, sub-par ring selection just to get out of the situation. My son became so frustrated with how we were being treated that he eventually walked away. The entire interaction was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in a retail store. What should have been a fun and memorable experience turned into a very uncomfortable one because of her behavior.

Always happy to shop here because I find so many "new to me " treasures each time. It is an hour and 15min drive from home on a good day so I try to consolidate my supply runs.

Finally made my way to Magick Cauldron and it was way more than I expected. Such a fun little treasure trove — dragon goodies, incredible cosplay swords, crystals, teas… honestly a bit of everything mystical and nerdy in the best way. Decent amount of parking, but not a ton, so keep that in mind depending on when you go. There’s truly something for everyone, and every corner has another surprise waiting. Will be back! Also I need to check them out at Renfest.

love that they have display tarot decks where you can actually take the cards out of the box so you can see and feel them before you buy the sealed, brand new deck. also had a nice little selection of oils - as a witch myself, i make my own and i still bought a couple from this shop just to experience this specific shops energy. also purchased a very pretty smoky quartz. lots of rainbows and inclusions. not a houston resident, but was in town for a complicated surgery. if i ever am stuck in houston again, i'd definitely give this place a visit.

Really had high hopes of finding Lilith, Medusa, Hecate/Hekate items, but no. However, this store does has a really good selection of items. Both expensive and affordable. I spent a little over $100. My fault- the tiny oils are very costly. (I bought a variety of items) They have a huge selection of Herbs! I'll definitely come back on my next trip to Houston, just to see if there's any newly added items or JUST to get Herbs! The lady worker (with black hair) was very unconcerned, she stayed on her phone with her head down. I asked for her help & she finished on her phone before acknowledging me, it took a minute. The man was very social & paying attention. The parking is also very awkward- I'd park up the road & walk. I'll NEVER buy the oils from here ever again- they're smaller than my pinky finger & cost a whopping $15 dollars.

if i could give a 0 i would, first time ever coming here and last, lady with long hair had such an attitude, snatched the card out of my hand, then when asked a question she was so annoyed, then she couldn’t count well or even fast, shouldn’t even work in customer service if she has such a negative attitude overall the store was nice just the staff wasn’t it. there’s def better places than this store to go to.

Smells great in here and the prices are reasonable which is surprising for a magick shop in a trendy part of town, but I spent less than $10 on the supplies I needed for a quick spell. Friendly staff, bustling with positive energy. Parking was full but I got a spot. I will be back for more!
