Went to Social Hour here and it’s definitely a 10/10. The food was amazing. My waiter J.T. was exceptional and the drinks were delicious. Happy hour is from Tues-Sun 3-7pm and you should definitely check them out. Do me a favor and order the crispy okra I promise you won’t be disappointed. One of Houston’s best Scratch Kitchens.

Had a great experience! Went for social hour, I loved the golden hour cocktail 10/10 and steak and frites 10/10 from the happy hour menu, I’ll go back specifically for that. Also got the blackberry breeze martini 9/10, is was very good but I’ll get your golden over that next time! Salmon dip was decent but not as memorable, I’d give it a 7/10. Overall I’ll for sure be back! One thing, I booked a reservation a few weeks ago and it did not state the happy hour was first come first serve in the bar when I booked it, but we got lucky but they could have avoided that had it been listed on their social hour menu.

Amazing happy hour! The shrimp and pasta are amazing. Drinks were on point. Huge happy hour menu. Came back a week later and everything was just as good if not better. JT took great care of us and ensured we had an amazing experience!

The Fielding’s Steak restaurant is magnificent. It’s located in a beautiful area off Westheimer, River Oaks vicinity. The ambiance is upscale yet very relaxing. We went during lunch and enjoyed the power lunch that featured 2 to 3 selected options at a nice price. The portions were excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Our waitress, I believe was Morgan, was super helpful & attentive with good recommendations. The owner, Cary, stopped by to check on us and we appreciated that personal interest in our visit that day. We totally enjoyed our visit and talked about it even a few days later. The host that greeted us was very welcoming and I loved that as we left (two hours later!) he was just as accommodating and held the door open for us, answering my questions about the weekend Brunch and the live performances held other evenings. The valet guy was super friendly too. Overall an excellent experience and hope to return very soon.

Fielding’s River Oaks continues to exceed every expectation. The food, drinks, service, and overall experience are always top-tier, but what truly sets them apart is their unmatched hospitality. The shrimp fettuccine is absolutely phenomenal and one of my favorite dishes. I was a little disappointed to learn they no longer serve the Lychee Martini I loved, but the Golden Hour cocktail was just as amazing and a perfect replacement. A special thank you to JT, our server, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We had great conversations with him, and he even invited us to tour the kitchen. That level of warmth and attention to detail is rare. Everyone we encountered was gracious, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. Also, Matt, the singer for Saturday and Sunday brunch, is incredible. He can truly sing anything and adds such a fun, elevated touch to the atmosphere. Fielding’s River Oaks consistently delivers excellence, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Heavy recommend. I have been here twice; once during restaurant week, and then just this weekend. The food is delicious and both the lamb chops and the sea bass are amazing and flavorful. Service was great and everything came out in a timely manner. Despite being new to the restaurant, our server worked hard to ensure his recommendations were well supported by the other staff. The mezcal drink was delicious and not too smoky at all!

I cane in today with my wife for an early dinner, and wow was it amazing. Our experience was truly enjoyable. The wagyu toast to start off was 🔥🔥🔥 I really enjoyed the branzino with gnocchi, the spinach dip, and the Caesar salad might just be the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. McCall was our server (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), and she made us feel right at home. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Brandon, who brought us out some fried oysters with caviar on top, that was spectacular. JT took the time to come over and really make us feel at home and welcome. We met the manager (I believe his name was Alex) and he was very kind to us as well. Before we left we were so pleased to meet the founder and owner Cary who showed us tremendous love. The whole staff was great, and the food was soooo good. Can’t wait to come back!

I was invited to a private dinner with sommelier wine pairings this past Saturday. The whole evening was well-paced, elegant and delightful from service, food and wine. Cary Attar has assembled a top-notch team that deliver on all cylinders. I also enjoyed a pre-dinner martini at the bar and it was mixed exactly to my liking. Already have plans to go back and enjoy their lunch experience next Friday. Highly recommended!
