Alora is cute and has a great atmosphere! The inside dining room is cozy which I loved and the staff were very friendly! We got the tumeric pisco and the hibiscus pisco and both were very flavorful and delicious! We started with the duck spring rolls which were tasty, but needed more sauce (I think a different plate with a larger sauce container would do this appetizer a lot of justice!). We also got the causa limena and it reminded us of a pickly potato salad without physical pickles! The texture was smooth and the shrimp on top were cooked really well! For our entree we split the pork chop and while tasty I do think other dishes on the menu are likely better. The mash under the sweet potato had really strong flavors that didn’t resolve through the bite with something to cut through it. It was just a little off balance for us. Maybe more daikon would help, I’m not sure! And finally the flan, so delicious! No notes! I would recommend visiting - the appetizer options are strong at Alora!

Extremely surprised with the flavors. A short Menu with the staples of Peruvian food. I ordered the chicken dish - and was full of flavor, nice portion. Ordered a Mock cocktail ginger beer with passion fruit. Delicious. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because its parking lot is hidden so we missed it 3 times. Parking on that area is struggle, nevertheless they have a small parking lot on the side at Dunlavy next to common bond. We went on Sunday and not busy. I will go again for business meetings since its not crowded and good environment. Again food Delicious!
We had a wonderful experience at Alora. The service was outstanding, we never felt rushed and the food delivered. Fantastic flavor. Perfect spice. Unique combinations. The mussels are to die for and the banh mi was incredible. Love the small rotating menu. We can’t wait to go back!
I had such a wonderful experience here! The staff were incredibly welcoming, not just to me, but to my pet bunny, who was being served all types of veggies. It’s rare to find such a genuinely pet-friendly spot where animals are truly welcome, not just tolerated. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—and the service was top-notch from start to finish. They even brought out a small bowl of water for my bunny, which totally made my day. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and wants to dine somewhere that makes both humans and furry friends feel right at home.
We had a pleasant, light dinner here. We shared some apps and each had a drink. I’d highly recommend the banh mi and duck spring rolls! We’re definitely going back for a full dinner soon!
The value for the money you get at Alora is top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes we tried and wished we had room to try a few more. I also really enjoyed my cocktail. We brought our 6 month old and it looked like there were several other families with kids about the same age. The wait staff was really nice. Overall, can’t wait to come back!
We came to Alora for dinner and absolutely loved it! We ordered the Vietnamese noodle bowl, anticucho, and pork chop - every dish was amazing and beautifully presented. The cocktails were incredibly creative and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with a great vibe. Truly a hidden gem in the Montrose area. Highly recommend!
It is rare to encounter a fusion concept that feels genuinely considered rather than gimmicky, and this restaurant clears that bar with remarkable confidence. The marriage of Argentinian and Vietnamese cuisines should not work on paper — the smoky, herbaceous weight of the parrilla tradition meeting the bright, layered acidity of Vietnamese cooking — and yet every dish made the case for why it should. We asked Luis, acting as our waiter that day, to surprise us with what he liked the most. He did not disappoint. We started with the drunken mussels, plump and fragrant in a broth with an unmistakable buttery depth — the kind of dish you keep tearing bread for long after the shells are empty. The ceviche was bright and disciplined, the citrus sharpened with fresh herbs in a way that felt distinctly Vietnamese without losing its South American backbone. The octopus with pumpkin (I know!) however, was the showpiece: tender, beautifully crafted , and dressed with restraint so the smell could carry the plate. The wine list is genuinely strong, with a not quite a deep bench of reds but stand up to the menu's bolder flavors and a thoughtful selection of lighter pours for the seafood courses. Service was attentive without hovering, and the room struck a warm, unpretentious tone. Kids and family there. This is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why fusion, done well, can be one of the most exciting categories in dining. Highly recommended.
