A beautiful place to spend the day! Very well maintained hiking trails. The playground is any child’s dream! They even have workout equipment for the parents to use while they watch the kiddos play! The beach looks clean and enjoyable, there’s a cute splash pad and a pool with an awesome swirly slide! They have locations for you to grab a bite to eat and plenty of water fountains to stay hydrated. A convenient put-put hut if you’re feeling competitive🤪

Pictures were taken late. But the park/beach is always packed with friends or families. Amazing experience. I would definitely revisit. Make sure to bring food, water and a towel. They also have safety jackets for people that can’t swim or the younger ones. The beach water is clean surprisingly, so don’t worry about needing footwear on the sand or in the water.

This is a fantastic, family-friendly park with an impressive range of amenities, including a beach, swimming pool, playground, and tennis courts. We loved the scenic walking trails that loop around the entire property. The park is highly accommodating for families, offering plenty of gazebos and picnic tables throughout, alongside a dedicated fishing pier. Day passes are $10 and season passes are reportedly $45, though I recommend calling ahead to confirm pricing. Overall, my kids had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back!

Some filthy person pooped all over a toilet and in the floor, did not bother the clean up after themselves. Kids and disabled people use theses bathrooms. It was disgusting. However, the park itsself was beautiful, a lot of families there grilling out, diverse crowds.

A beautiful large park with so much to offer with expansive picnic areas and shelters adorned with picnic tables and grills all throughout the area that is well kept and run. Lake St. Clair Metropark is a 770-acre park located in Harrison Township, Michigan, featuring extensive shoreline, marshlands, and recreational facilities. It features a pool, splash pad, water slide, boating, fishing, picnic areas, and hiking trails which also Includes nearly 500 acres of coastal marshlands. Nature Center, par 3 gold course as well as a goofy adventure gulf course, boat launch ramp and water access areas for small boats, kayaks, canoes to access the lake on the south side or Clinton River on the west side of the park. Large long boardwalk adorns the west side leasing all the way around the park. Marina to dock your boat. Basketball and tennis courts, volley ball, pickle ball and a great playground for the young ones. Concessions and rentals for bikes, boats and even golf carts. There is shuttle buses to take you to different areas of the park including a large parking lot split in 4 areas near the center of the park and more parking near the south end and as well as nature center. A sandy beach is on the west side where just recently they added a camping outing a few weeks in the summer to enjoy. The bathrooms are well kept and scattered throughout the park. You can also enjoy the winter season where you can also enjoy the nature trails, go ice skating and sledding. A banquet facility encased in high glass windows that is just gorgeous in right in the center of the park. There is one mile of shoreline along Lake St. Clair. The nature trails in the park take visitors through Cottonwood trees, wetland meadows and a boardwalk through the marshland. The park is a good place for all types of migrant species, including waterfowl, songbirds, shorebirds, terns, rails, bitterns and herons, Tundra Swans and Snowy Owls. It is also home to many nesting wetland species such as Marsh Wren, Least Bittern, Common Gallinule, Sora and Virginia Rail. I recently obsevered several eagles soaring over the lake and the land taking in the high tree tops for a restful retreat. They have many activities that they offer with my favorite being the live bands in the summer months on specific days. One good thing to point out is the security at this park is outstanding, but the best thing is you can bring your beloved dogs with you! Leashed of course. All I can say is this is one of my favorite Parts in all of Michigan and it's easy to access by I-94 to 16 mile that takes you right down into the park. There is a fee to enter either daily or yearly. Of course there are other fees that are collected when you rent equiptment items, boats, etc. or the banquet facility or want to take in a round of golf The live bands are free as well as the nature center! It's a really great place to have a family reunion or a quiet picnic with a few or even just enjoy sitting on your boat over on the dock side. They also host a Chinese floating Lantern Festival which is a spectacular sight in itself! There's really just too much more that I could say but this would last forever so you just really need to go visit the place and you won't be disappointed I give it a full five stars! ☆☆☆☆☆

Absolutely amazing. It was so calm that the deer were out. We saw a multitude of wildlife. Deer, geese, swans, beavers, groundhog, red wing black birds among some of our favorites. Definitely recommend going towards the evening.
