We had such a great time at this escape room! It was just me and my two kids, and it ended up being such a fun and memorable experience for all of us. We definitely needed (and requested!) quite a few clues along the way, and the staff member helping us was absolutely phenomenal—so patient, encouraging, and really knew how to guide us without giving too much away.
They made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free, and we were laughing and having fun the entire time. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a fun, interactive activity. We’ll definitely be back
What an amazing experience! We celebrated my son’s birthday here, and it couldn’t have gone better. The escape room was incredibly well designed, fun, and full of surprises. The puzzles were challenging enough to keep everyone engaged but still enjoyable for all skill levels.
Lizzie was absolutely fantastic! She was friendly, upbeat, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Her enthusiasm added so much to the experience and helped make my son’s birthday extra special.

★★★★★My friends and I really enjoy escape rooms. We have tried many different experiences, but have found the 60 to Escape experience to be the perfect balance of high production value and interesting puzzles. The highest compliment I can pay them is that we have done most of their escape rooms at the Schaumburg location, so had to drive to Gurnee Mills to try new ones by them.
As I said, the production value is high. I included some pictures to illustrate this. We did Starship (7/10 difficulty) and the Museum heist (8/10 difficulty). They do a great job of immersing you into the story.
Most of their escape rooms are non-linear. This means that you can complete the puzzles out of order. So not everyone has to be working on the same puzzle to progress the story. And most of their escape rooms involve finding and unlocking additional hidden spaces.
The staff also adds to the experience. You are assigned one team member who brings you to the room and monitors you throughout. You can talk to them before hand and tell them if your group likes nudges or if you want to be mainly left alone. There are also blue buttons in the room if your group is stuck and explicitly requests a hint.
Lastly, I like how they rate their room’s difficulty. If you are new to escape rooms, then start with a 6/10 difficulty and move your way up to a 9/10 difficulty (I have not seen a 10/10 difficulty yet).
In summary, I think you will enjoy yourself at this escape room. You will be impressed by the production value and find it rewarding to get through all their interesting puzzles.
Had a great time at 60 to Escape! The puzzles were creative and challenging, the room was immersive, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a fun experience for our whole group, and we can't wait to come back and try another room. Highly recommend!
I've come here multiple times now and I am always delighted by how well thought out the puzzles are. The lighting and sound effects in the room are so cool, and the whole experience is just a treat!! This time we came with a group of 3 and did Mystery Manor. It was very fun and just the right level of spooky, and our guide Phillipe was great!! He was pleasant and helpful, and by far my favorite guide I've had thus far. It would do good to any establishment to hire more people like him. I'll probably be back again and hope to have another good experience next time.
Staffing was great.They're very interactive with the story, as they walked us into our escape room. Very fun experience never been to one before. Definitely want to do more in the future because we had a great experience.
What a blast I have been to escape rooms quite a few times, this is definitely one of my favorites. Me and my family did the Hidden temple room and that was a blast. The mechanisms of the doors and puzzles where amazing. The worker was so nice and recommended this as his favorite and I can see why it earns that praise. The price was well worth it at fourth dollars a person if you have three or more people playing. If I am in the area I will come back. Thank you so much to the workers you were so friendly.
this place is amazing n so so much fun, i went with my sister n her boyfriend n were already planning when we’re going again! you can tell they took there time with the rooms there so cool n the decorations are so perfect. the employee Lainey helped us with our room n she was the sweetest soul i’ve met she was so much help! 1000% worth the cost can’t wait to visit again!
