The Farm At Green Village

I visited the Farm at Green Village yesterday in search of shrubs for our backyard. I had the most wonderful encounter with Jay D'Accardi in garden center sales. Jay was so patient and knowledgeable answering every single one of my MANY questions. He explained what to look for when purchasing shrubs. Jay took me around the center and made recommendations of interesting varieties I would not have considered otherwise. He explained that different growers prune differently, which gives the same variety of shrub a completely different look from one to the other. His 20 years of experience is invaluable and I'm grateful for him sharing his wealth of information. I am so pleased with the quality of my selections (2) Katsura Japanese Andromeda, (1) Mountain Fire Andromeda, and (1) ReJoyce Leucothoe. I also treated myself to a basket of pansies to replace the ones the deer ate for breakfast. This is just the beginning... I will definitely return for more shrubs, perennials and annuals... and of course to continue to pick Jay's brain.

what a splendid visit we had! We came on a weekday so it really wasnt so busy. The place is huuuuge so we spent a good amount of time there and enjoyed every minute lol the plants are really well taken care of and so beautiful! they also have “rare” tropical plants there such as their variegated monsteras which were all so pretty! anyway, We visited before thanksgiving and there were already christmas decors. We loved the holiday vibes and took so many pictures. Honestly every corner is a photo spot! it was that pretty! the staff were very pleasant as well which i appreciated! aside from plants they have gift items, home decors or holiday things. the even have pretty peacocks and a curious hen the day we visited lol so cute! Now if they only had an espresso/coffee shop this would be even more perfect! lol

Literally flabbergasted a place like this still exists. All the good garden centers near me have gone out of business bc of Home Depot/Lowes/the internet, which is a joke bc none of those places come even close to a good local garden center. I found this place by happy accident. I was at a newer garden center 7 min away in Morristown, but they were a bit overpriced and didn’t have everything I needed. I had 30 min to kill so I googled local garden center and this popped up and LORDY LORD. WHAT A GIFT. So organized, so knowledgeable, and they have everything you could ever need. SO MANY NATIVE PLANTS that I have had such a hard time finding. Everyone I’ve interacted with is so kind and patient. The space is huge, and the plants are so well organized and easy to find what you’re looking for. I sometimes just swing by when I’m in the area to wander around and get inspired. The kicker that made me write this review though is the other day I picked up a few plants and seed packets. When I got home I noticed the seeds I was most looking forward to planting were gone. I was bummed, but figured I must’ve dropped them somewhere in transit. I didn’t think much beyond that since the seed packet was just a few bucks. But then I got a phone call from Green Village, they had found a seed packet in the parking lot and looked up in their system who had purchased that seed packet most recently and CALLED ME to let me know they had found it and did I want to pick it up or have it returned or credited to the account. Like WHAT. Service and caring for customers like that literally doesn’t exist anywhere anymore. Anyway if you’ve made it this far, this is my ode to Green Village. Please please please never go out of business. The world needs you. I need you 🫡

This place is simply amazing! Shoutout to the entire staff for being helpful and answering any questions I had. At first, I became overwhelmed because there were so many plants. Luckily, they were closing soon and forced me to stop and choose! 😂 I were thinking of buying annuals again this year and eventually found some adorable perennial succulents instead. 🥰 Not only is the staff helpful and knowledgeable but this nursery offers assistance for its customers and even gives coupons! This place is huge , so get ready to put on walking shoes! Shoutout to Kylieeee!!!! Very awesome person who recently helped me pick out a birds of paradise and had the courtesy to shine the leaves for me.

Heaven on earth! Best selection of pottery and every plant for your house or garden! Went on Friday- back again today (since the sale was extended) never a disappointment! Best staff ever- helped with absolutely everything- thank you for the best morning!

The Farm at Green Village is just a wonderful place to go and enjoy nature, and find beautiful trees, plants, flowers and vegetables to bring home to your world. We have been happy customers for many years and have watched this facility improve year after year. Expect to find tremendous inventory, and a great team on hand to help with site navigation and product selection. On "Earth Day" this year we visited The Farm to purchase a Cherry Tree and an Autumn Blaze Maple tree. "JAY" met us at the cabin and with knowledge and skill helped us understand the many varieties of these popular trees. He also helped us select both, and we really appreciated his kind nature, and opinions. We made our selections and asked to have them both delivered. On "Arbor Day", we received a phone call from "Jairo", the driver of the delivery truck. He gave us an estimated arrival time. "Jairo and Braulio" arrived on time and were both friendly and skilled with the delivery work. We have a 500-foot driveway with many trees and curves to navigate, and Jairo backed the huge truck in professionally with great respect for our property. This team worked together to unload and place the trees where we wanted them to go. This entire process was just "Perfect". Thanks to these three "Farm" employees. FIVE STARS!

Amazing place! I was surprised to see so many tropical plants. They have a nice section of bonsai trees and orchids. I got a terrarium and am very happy they create different variations! Everybody was friendly and wanted to help. Absolutely coming back for more!

This place is amazing!! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. They explained and showed us right plants for our home so patiently. The collection and variety of plants is just mind blowing. Highly recommend this place!
