Always fun taking a trip back in time. Themed events all year around but look on the Parks and Recreation website. Halloween and Christmas or an inexpensive day wondering with 5-16 year old kids or an afternoon to dork on history

A group of friends and myself took a bike ride here and would my military pass got everybody in for free even for the ride. It was a great day we had lots of fun and the ride was amazing. I wish we could do it more often

Had a Great time, the village is always fun and you can always find / learn something new. This visit we did the 3pm train which included a train robbery and hostage situation. Made it that much more fun, hope they do more fun events like that.

Everyone had a great time! My only complaint is the food available was just okay...walking tacos, blah pizza etc. The Sweet Shop had nothing homemade only snack size bag candy sold by the piece/bag and gas station type suckers/novelty items! Otherwise, the warm cinnamon pecans, coffee and cocoa was good and priced as you'd expect. Also, the same with the kettle and caramel corn stand! We'll definitely be back as the Christmas lights/celebration was the reason we went and it was great!❤️

Came here for the christmas holiday nights and railroad event. It was so fun! We t with the whole family including kids. They absolutely loved the train ride! We walked around the town, saw a bunch of lights, sipped hot chocolate, rode the carousel and ferris wheel. All the employees did a great job too! 5 stars. Will be back to go again next year!

We went for "Christmas at Crossroads". A wonderful, must do, holiday adventure for the entire family. Beautifully restored historical buildings, tons of holiday lights, cheery music, historians and live demos. It's easy to navigate and plenty of things to see and do. Everything looks to be wheelchair accessible. There was an indoor carousel and outdoor Ferris wheel you could ride for an additional fee. Make sure you stop in to see the model railroad club too. They run HO scale trains on a very detailed layout. And while you're there, don't forget to ride the steam locomotive and vintage rail cars. It's about 40 ish minutes long with points of interest and light displays along the way. I highly recommend buying your tickets in advance. You will not be guaranteed the train ride unless you do. Tickets sell out fast.

Looking for a Hallmark experience? Visit the crossroads village in Huckleberry Railroad! It is a town frozen in time. Where you can walk around and enjoy all the shops and also learn a little bit of history along the way. They have Michigan’s fastest carousel that was built in 1910. Along with a hand painted Ferris wheel that was built in 1912. The food and hot cocoa are delicious. Everything is incredibly fairly priced! The perfect Christmas adventure.

This venue creates themed weekends to enhance the experience. People really participate. We attended during the curiousities weekend and we were not disappointed. There were numerous interesting things to look at and acts to watch. We saw a magic show, a juggler, unicycles, a man on stilts, and a unique balloon artist. There were a few excellent food trucks as well. Many of the visitors were in garb. It was a lot of fun.
