Chicago Auto Place

I bought a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle convertible from Chicago Auto Place two weeks ago. Initially, I called about a similar car that was posted for sale online. My salesman, Bobby S., was super responsive. We had several conversations about the car, but it actually had been sold to another party. The next day, I inquired about the car I ended up buying. Bobby sat in the car and answered ALL my questions while on FaceTime. I made the 2.5 hour trip the next day to check out the car in person. It met my expectations. More importantly, Bobby was very friendly, respectful toward me and my sister, and moved the process along in a timely manner. Sorry to say, one has an idea of what a “used car salesman” is right? Well, Bobby was totally a man or integrity and out for the best interest of both myself and his business/ employer. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. Additionally, I had the opportunity to meet the owner, Ricky. He was also very nice, professional and helpful in getting the car ready for me to drive home. It was well detailed and the business piece of things went smoothly. Ricky even helped find a warranty product that fit my needs better than what was initially offered. And in full disclosure, there was an issue with the key (turning off/getting out of the ignition) which I’ve since learned is not uncommon for the vehicle. The dealership addressed it, but it was obviously not fixed as I got home and couldn’t turn the car off! I called Bobby and he talked me through some things and I got the car off/key out. I am in the process of getting it fixed through the warranty company and things are going much more smoothly than I anticipated. I am so happy with my purchase, my experience with Chicago Auto Place, and especially Bobby, who did everything right- before , during, and even after my purchase! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We went to different dealers for used vehicles and I can say that Chicago Auto Place went above and beyond in detailing. All used cars were noticeably clean and smells like new. They were able to accomodate us giving them short notice that we are coming. It is a busy place but they were staffed that all customers were attended in timely manner. No wait time to test drive. Robert W is knowledgeable with cars and very transparent. Ricky the owner was very patient and considerate when I got issues with my debit card. This place is a one stop shop. Financing is a breeze and we got our car plates instantly. Certainly to recommend this place.

I purchased a Porsche Taycan Turbo 2021 from this dealership earlier this year. Erik helped me with the entire process, went above and beyond and secured me good APR loan. They promised to detail the car and do ceramic coating later and they delivered as promised. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends. Just a heads up for used car purchasers, make sure that the car you buy has aftermarket warranty or OEM warranty if you want to be 100% sure that you will be taken care of for any mechanical or electrical defects / problems.

Chicago Auto Place is a fantastic place to buy a car. They were very friendly, laid back and provided a fantastic selection of cars. Robert was my salesman. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Robert knew just what I was looking for and gave me great cars to choose from. I felt no pressure as if I was buying a car from a friend. In less than 2 hours, I and was able to purchase a fantastic Lincoln. God Bless America!
