Jimmy's Backyard BBQ

First time here. The BBQ is a little different than most places I have tried, but different a good way. The smoke flavor isn't as prominent and overwhelming as others and the seasoning is perfect. I tried the ribs, chicken, and brisket with cornbread, Mac n cheese, and parsley potatoes. The ribs and chicken were fantastic. The brisket was shredded, which I wasn't a fan of but that's just me. The Mac n cheese was really good, parsley potatoes could be better if there was more butter on them (I should have ordered the French fries bc I hear they are amazing), and the cornbread was perfect. The staff was even better. Super polite, helpful, and you can tell they love their job. I will definitely be back to try more delicious BBQ. I highly recommend!!!

I ordered 1 full pan of pulled pork and 1 full pan of sliced brisket. The pulled pork was edible but had zero flavor. The brisket wasn't sliced but shredded. ANDDDD it wasn't even brisket!! It was either a bottom round or a chuck roast! I used to manage a BBQ restaurant so I was very disappointed. The full tray of "brisket" was drier than my work boots and had zero flavor. Was a big let down for the 4th of July. $500 down the drain. DON'T GO HERE

I’m from out of town I travel a lot due to work, my hobby is finding some of the best bbq and man do I have to say , this right here woooo weee, I got the three ribs, 3 wings, and fries and everything was great I tried first with no sauce to same the raw flavor and it was memorable on everything. Then I tried with their HOME MADE sweet bbq and hot bbq and guys don’t sleep on this place. Swing in there and order the whole damn menu. You won’t be disappointed. Appreciate the excellent meal and great atmosphere, as well as the friendly workers.

We have been eating here for years and it keeps getting better. Love stopping in for a bite with the kids. Great environment and even better food. I recommend the White barbecue sauce, hushpuppies, rib bones and the Chindripper. Must try if you have not already!

First time trying out Jimmy’s and we ordered pretty much the menu to try a bit of it all. Best corn bread, potato salad and garlic white sauce on chicken wings. Everything else was good too but those stood out the most. The dirty Mac is a fan favorite we were told and our teens enjoyed that. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. Brisket is shredded to remain moist. I definitely will be having them cater parties in the future.

I had been planning on going here for 2 wks and finally made it . I was greeted with a smile by Jason he was very nice the place was warm clean and spacious I had got there 20 mins after opening my food was fresh and hot

Friendly staff. Amazing food. Every single thing we've tried has been delicious. Their specials are killer and so are their sauces. I would give six stars if I could.

Stopped by today as I was out in the area and bbq sounded good. The staff was great and made sure I had everything I needed in my life togo bag. Got home and have to stay was a little disappointed as the meat has 0 flavor, was hoping for that good smoke flavor. Was a little worried when I saw the brisket was very greasy. Once I added their bbq sauce it was better but was really hoping for better flavor. While the meats were blah the sides were very good. Might be some of the best coleslaw I had and the fries were seasoned. I also got some hush puppies which were really good. I would definitely give them another shot as it might have been an off day
