Worst experience overall. Poori was like paper and can make it to thousands of pieces as it was hard. Uttapam didn’t cook well and can feel the dough from inside. Service was very poor, never had this kind of poor service. Just spoiled my day for driving 20 miles for a south Indian restaurant with bad food. I’ll never venture again.

The best South Indian food you can get is at Annapurna Cuisine. Their dosa, uttapam, and vada sambar are absolutely delicious. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. My son loves going there every Sunday, and it has become our little weekend tradition. If you love South Indian food, this place is definitely worth visiting! P.s… My son was hungry, so we went to a restaurant, but it was closed between 2 and 5. The chef saw us and came out from inside and asked, “What do you want, brother?” I told him, “My son is hungry and wants to eat a cheese dosa, but it’s okay—you guys are resting.” He was so kind to us. He said, “Give me 5 minutes, don’t go—I’ll be back.” He went inside, made a cheese dosa, and brought it out for my son. That’s what you call kindness. Thank you, brother. My son learned something today for life—that being kind is very important and doesn’t cost anything.

Amazing food and great staff! Love their Sambhar Idli, Dosas and Masala Chai (I like ginger in mine). Always look forward to my weekly brunches there

The food here is great and easily the reason this restaurant stays consistently crowded. The staff deserves a lot of credit as they work incredibly hard and do their best to serve everyone despite the constant rush. That said, it seems clear that there are staffing issues that management needs to address. The current team appears stretched thin, and adding more staff would significantly improve the overall dining experience while also supporting the employees who are already working tirelessly. Another concern was the shortage of basic utensils like spoons and forks during our visit. The restaurant should invest in better quality cutlery and dishes rather than serving hot food in plastic containers and plates. It gives the impression that the focus is more on moving customers through quickly than on delivering a good dining experience. I genuinely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously by improving staffing levels and enhancing the ambience and service standards. With a few operational improvements, this place has the potential to be better and worth coming back. Otherwise, I do not recommend. People: 5/5 Management: 1/5 (hopefully they can improve)

We stopped by Annapurna Restaurant for a quick dinner while on our way to San Francisco. Due to the Christmas holidays, the place was quite busy. The food overall was average. We ordered dosas, which were slightly overcooked, and the paneer filling was minimal, with flavors dominated by onions and tomatoes. The Mysore masala dosa has big pieces of aloo in it! Curry in it was not properly made. The masala chai was not up to the mark, as it was heavily dominated by ginger. The chole bhatura was average, and the chole itself didn’t stand out. The overall experience felt similar to a typical busy tiffin center you might find near popular street pilgrimage places in India. The restaurant mentions it has been around for about 17 years, and while that shows longevity, the authenticity and consistency could be better maintained to match its long-standing presence.

Some of my favorite Indian food I’ve ever tried! Got take out and was so floored by how good it was! I got the Vegetable Korma (comes w rice) and Garlic Naan with the Gulab Jamun for dessert. It was spicy, but it was perfect if you can handle medium spice. I could still taste the flavors really well. And the dessert was out of control. I will be back. Also, there was a mixup with an item in my order and when I called they remedied the situation very quickly letting me keep the extra dish. Really great customer service.

Worst place. Avoid this restaurant. We reached at 8:45 PM with a small kid, while their Google timings clearly showed they close at 9:30 PM. Instead of informing us properly, they made us wait outside in the cold and later sent a young employee to tell us that they would only serve dosas. Not a single manager had the courtesy to come and speak to us directly. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and handled the situation very poorly. If the kitchen was closing early, they should have clearly informed customers instead of wasting people’s time and making families wait outside. Very disappointing experience.
