Thank u Danny for saving my haircut mishap—I tried to cut my own hair for an acting role. It worked for the front. The back looked like I got in a fight with a lawnmowers grandfather—-I didn’t get pictures for u all so u could laugh with me. But I came in the shop for my first time sporting a comical haze of Joe Dirt meets Forrest Gump and Danny was incredibly kind enough to slide me in for 5 minutes before his next appointment—you’ve gained a customer for life! I love this place! I had been to a few other shops for consultations on cutting my hair short and did not feel comfortable with the stylists. I heard about this place and booked with Gianna. As soon as I met her, I knew I had chosen the right stylist! She is so nice and friendly, she totally put me at ease. I felt safe to ask her questions and explore different haircut options. I'm thrilled with my cut and look forward to going back!

Pricy but completely worth it. I have been in the states for four years now and Ian gave the best cuts I have ever received. Other stylists have a specialty style that they try to force on me, no matter what I asked. But Ian is a true professional and game changer. His cuts were not only professional and neat, but he got a good taste in styling according to your needs. Unfortunately I am visiting LA or else would have been a regular.

I'm very selective about who cuts my hair because not everyone understands my vision or the style I'm looking for. Sergei, thank you! For my first appointment with you, I'm 100% satisfied. FIRST IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR GO TO GIANNA I've gotten 2 haircuts from Gianna and in simplest terms from talent to kindness my experience has been phenomenal. The first time I went to her I'd regrown out my hair to a fro after a bad haircut experience. Not knowing what I wanted outside of no fades and not a mullet she recommended several styles. During the cut, she was kind, shared knowledge on how to take care of and style my hair type and created a genuine experience. Through out the next couple month, I began receiving so many more compliments on my hair. Which, I really have to give all credit to her because she brought my curls out in a way through recommending products I didn't think was possible. As my hair grew out over three and a half months there wasn't a single point it looked overgrown or poorly cut. In my opinion that's the true sign of a great haircut. I went back to her for a trim a week ago and again she absolutely killed it. Even though she'd only cut my hair once she remembered so much about me personally and my hair type. The only downside of this was my haircut went so much quicker so our conversation wasn't able to continue for longer! Gianna seriously creates the best haircut environment I've ever had which almost breaks my heart to say as someone who moved across the country away from there barber of over 10 years. I wouldn't consider getting my hair cut by anyone else. The environment of AANUKO is also so unique and friendly compared to other experiences I've had getting my haircut since moving. The staff all seem to be friends and that makes you feel extremely welcomed even as a first timer. 8.5/5 stars if I could.

Amazing experience. The new location looks super clean, modern, and welcoming. My barber Dima really took his time and gave me one of the best scissor cuts I’ve had in a while. Very detailed, natural, and exactly how I wanted it. You can tell they actually care about quality and the overall experience. Definitely coming back and happy to support this new spot. Highly recommend.

i had such a great experience at house of aanuko. giana did an amazing job cutting my curly hair. i came in with a photo ai had made for me, and she really understood the vision right away. she even loved the description that came with it, and she made the whole process feel easy and natural, leaving me with a haircut i loved on day one. also, nina was so sweet and helpful. as a southerner from alabama to my mississippi, we immediately clicked 🫶 and i really appreciated that she took charge of the booking process for me instead of just sending me online. that personal touch meant a lot. thank you both so much.
