Rio Mambo

This place was not bad, it just was not entirely my cup of tea. The atmosphere had the game on as well as music, both trying to be louder than the other. It didn’t set well with my senses. My food was just ok, but I prefer trimmed, skinless chicken breast, and what I got was fatty and had skin. I know some people prefer skin on their chicken, I am just not one of them.

I really loved the shrimp nachos, bean soup (charro beans) and the margaritas!! Vicente was a great server! Very patient!! (I took forever to decide what food I wanted) And his recommendations were PERFECT! Chef's kiss! We will be back for more!

Rating: 3/5 - Great Ceviche, Poor Service The Good: The happy hour margaritas are top-tier, and the white fish ceviche is flavorful, spicy, and huge. The Bad: The Los Cabos salad was a soggy disappointment. Despite asking for dressing on the side, it came drenched. The chicken entree was "okay" at best, but certainly not worth a return trip. The Ugly: I was hit with a $4 upcharge for chicken that contradicted the menu. The server refused to even discuss the error. While the manager eventually refunded the difference, his lack of an apology made it clear he was just trying to get me out the door. It felt like a "path of least resistance" refund rather than genuine customer service. It was only 4$ but to me its just a matter of principle. I probably wont order that salad again lol

Two of us ate at Rio Mambo today. We came ate lunch time and it was my mom’s first meal here. The manager Cristina sat us and offered my mom and I free queso. It was decided from her that the white queso was better than the yellow. We both ordered lunch specials. It was a great value. Restaurant wasn’t busy and we sat right down. Our server, Viviana was sweet, attentive and friendly. We both enjoyed our food and she wants to go back. Highly recommend.

This past weekend, my family and I visited Rio Mambo. The ambience was on point, and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Our server was amazing--kind, patient, and so attentive. The general manager even came by just to see how things were going, and you don't do that often at restaurants so we really did appreciate that. The entire atmosphere was welcoming, and we can't wait to come back again!

Brittany took great care of me and met all of my needs even without me asking! She knew what I needed before I had to ask and she was a joy as a bartender and server. The brisket quesadillas were scrumptious and the unlimited chips and salsa did not disappoint! Great food and service!

Came for first time on a busy Friday night. Mixed grill fajita platter was ok (best were the blackened shrimp), portions are smaller than most other Tex Mex restaurants. Service was great--we had our water, Josh, the assistant manager and general manager check on us so that was outstanding. Would like to return for happy hour. I wish the dine in menu was available on their website.

My husband and I went for date night and had the most amazing waitress Lorena at the Colleyville location, she was caring and on top of everything!! Highly recommend asking for her when going, food was also a plus!
