I went during restaurant week with a group of friends and absolutely loved this place! I loved all of the food and drinks we ordered. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my steak was slightly rubbery. However, I did order it medium well and I understand everyone’s opinion on steak wellness varies. My friends and I decided to order a variety of sides so that we could share and try them all. Each side dish was SPECTACULAR! 5/5, 10/10. I cannot remember the name of the drink I ordered, but that was also 5/5.

Visitor notes
Service was great from the greeters, the host, and the bussing staff. The waitress could have been better, but she wasn’t bad. I made reservations earlier and put celebrating birthday, I also said it was my birthday to the host, she did say happy birthday, but other than that no one said or did anything. Maybe because I was by myself but would have still enjoyed an acknowledgment…. The food was good I will come back, the lobster bisque was salty the greens had some heat and salt but needed a touch more flavor, I enjoyed the firmness of the greens. The mac and cheese was very good The half Branzino had a few scales on it but was still good. Good portions I will come back
I had such a nice experience at this Southern restaurant in Chicago near 20th and Wabash. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The host, Reese, was very pleasant and made a great first impression. Our server, Messler I may be pronouncing his name wrong —was nice as well, though I would have loved a little more detail about the menu items since we ordered appetizers. We tried the baked macaroni and cheese, asparagus, crab cake, Cullerton salad, shrimp and calamari, and dessert. My favorite was definitely the Cullerton salad it was so delicious! The macaroni and cheese was my least favorite, not because it was bad, but because it just wasn’t what I expected. The atmosphere was amazing, the music was nice, and the drinks were delicious. My son loved his Old Fashioned, and I really enjoyed my Paper Plane. I also appreciated the general manager, Mandy, stopping by to check on us. When I mentioned the shrimp and calamari portion seemed a little short, she offered us a fresh batch, and it came out really good. Eddie was also great with clearing the table and keeping our waters refilled. Overall, the food, service, drinks, and atmosphere made it a great experience. This is a nice spot for a date night or a good night out, and I’ll definitely be back.
This restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and the lighting is as perfect , the music selection is enjoyable, I do suggest turning it down a bit so people can hear each other better (the staff bringing out the food smiled but couldn’t hear us and seemed confused most of the time). My friends (3 of us) and I sat at the bar and the service could improve, there were 2 bartenders and 2 bar support staff (took orders and relayed to bartenders but didn’t actually serve). We had a female bartender who seemed to be absent minded, we had to ask for silverware every time we received a plate, she didn’t ask if we were doing well or if the food was enjoyable (the people helping out the bartenders did). My friends waited 5-6 mins before she received a spoon for her dessert. We waited 15 minutes between entrees 2 of us ordered the pastas and 1 person ordered the chicken. I think this spot has a lot of potential and room to grow. Now for the food the pasta was underwhelming, my chicken was overcooked. I added shrimp to mine and that was honestly the best part. The only other thing I suggest is changing the noodle. The noodle was too much for the pasta, I suggest something smaller or lighter. If the Cajun pasta was made with veggies I could understand using the noodle they did. Side bar if you’ve had actual Cajun food and think you’re going to get that - DONT order this. Theres nothing Cajun about it.
I had such a great experience dining here! From the moment we walked in, everything was smooth — there was no wait time, which was a huge plus. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with stylish aesthetics that create a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxed meal or a night out. The food was delicious — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can tell attention is put into both presentation and taste. Our waitress was amazing as well. She was attentive, friendly, and checked on us at just the right times without ever being overwhelming. The service really elevated the entire experience. Overall, great food, great service, and a lovely ambiance. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!
Went for a lunch reservation on Valentine’s Day. Our server was Myles who was very nice and had great recommendations. We did wait for over an hour to get our food. Spoke to the manager who was very nice, apologized for the wait and explained they had lots of call offs. The manager was extremely accommodating comping our drinks and dessert and discounting the rest. The food was absolutely delicious. We loved every bite.
The food is amazing here. I loved everything except for the deviled eggs. The staff were friendly. My only hang up is the no sandals rule. It was close to 100 degrees when we went and we were forced to sit at the bar.
I visited this establishment over a week ago. The set up of the restaurant is nice. I liked the R&B music playing in the background. Our waitress was on point the entire night, with some of her suggestions on the menu and her attentiveness. Now let’s get down to the food. Heard great things about this place, but was a bit disappointed. The Heiress cocktail was great no complaints whatsoever. For our appetizer we went with the Crab cake, it wasn’t hot, it was room temperature, we requested another one. The Cajun Pasta was good, but it had no spice at all. You can’t call it Cajun with no spice. My date said the Glazed chicken and collard greens were missing something. The Potato Au Gratin tasted good, but needed more potatoes and less liquid.
