Rosebud on Rush

We came here for a business dinner while we were all in the area for meetings. We made reservations and it was a good thing as they were pretty busy. They sat us at a nice table downstairs and our server was great! Very engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu here is outstanding! Soooo many interesting, unique, and delicious sounding options! Then the specials were equally as great too! Since the menu had so many great options and so did their dessert menu – we chose to skip appetizers, soup, or salad and get nice entrées and save room for dessert! Their wine list was great as well and I found an absolute winner with their Banshee cab! For an entrée I had such a hard time deciding. I can tell you that everything everyone else in our party got looked amazing and they all said tasted great. For me, I chose their Arriabbiata Cavatelli “8 Finger” pasta, but I asked for their breaded chicken to be add to it. After our server described the breaded chicken used for the chicken parm, I wanted this, but didn’t want chicken parm. My dish came out perfectly and exactly the way I wanted and it tasted amazing! The slight spiciness of the pasta sauce was great and the amazing texture of the homemade pasta was excellent! Then, add to that their outstanding chicken and it made for an incredible entrée!!! Save room for dessert here because they have some great options! All desserts are made in-house too!! I wanted their banana cream pie and it was great! Their coconut cake was incredibly huge!! Again, I can’t say enough about the experience, the food, the menu – Definitely worth a try!

I have always wanted to dine at Rosebud on Rush during our trips to Chicago but we got in late tonight and had to order takeout from here instead of dining in. All I can say is wow, everything we ordered tonight was fantastic! Literally not a single thing we ordered wasn't great. I couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough, we will definitely return!

A Chicago Classic! Unforgettable Family Dinner We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining at Rosebud on Rush with family! This place is a true Chicago classic. The atmosphere is incredibly lively and energetic. We loved soaking in the history on the walls, the photos of iconic celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Brooke Shields, and Rod Stewart who have visited over the years give it such a cool, timeless vibe. We decided to share everything family-style, ordering multiple appetizers and a main course. The Sausage and Peppers is an absolute must-order with incredible flavor, and the meatballs were perfectly seasoned and so tender. We also loved the fresh, crisp chopped salad, and the Chicken Milanese we had for our main was executed to perfection. It is the perfect spot to enjoy amazing food, great drinks, and fantastic company. We had such a memorable night, and we will absolutely be back!

I was dining here last night with my dad when one of the servers, Celia, walked past us. She had the cutest rose pin on her shirt & I complimented her pin. Moments later, she returned to our table (she was not our server), removed the pin, and GAVE it to me!!! She said she wanted me to have it. I truly cannot express my gratitude towards her, & am in awe of the kindness she showed me. This seriously made my week! Such a sweet soul🥺🥰 Of course the food here is amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken 10/10. Our server recommended the Calabrese chicken & tiramisu, 1000/10. Overall an incredible experience. Such kindness from the entire staff 💞💞💞 The outside dining area is lovely !!!

Great, classic Italian spot with a warm, traditional vibe. The steaks and lamb chops were truly delicious and cooked perfectly. The servers really stole the show with their old-school humor and fun energy. It was a company dinner, but I’d definitely come back for a personal visit.

Our server Jaime was great we had our friends birthday dinner. It was my first time at Rosebuds I had the chicken Parmesan it was a 6/10 for me. Busboys were coming around every 2 minutes to see what can they remove from the tables, although I know they are doing their job it felt like we were being rushed. The birthday surprise was really nice though.

This was amazing. Some say the Alfredo was lacking flavor but I think it was giving exactly what it’s supposed to. The olive oil was very high grade. I was inlove. The man in the white suit was a delight too.

Ok where to start. Very decent meal itself. But lots of process improvement needed in customer experience. Glance at the menu outside and you'll start getting relentlessly hard-sold about coming in. It worked, but here I am giving a 3 star review. Then the menu. At the bottom in small print is a notice that there's a 3% fee added to all checks but that you can get it removed if you ask. If I wanted hidden fees I would have went to an airport. Odd policy -- and wouldn't have even seen it had I not been scanning the menu for a legend for the symbols which appear next to certain dishes (spoiler alert: the legend doesn't exist). Bruschetta was decent. Eggplant stack was good. Wine was good. Service was good but rushed with constant check-ins on whether I was done or not. All over a decent experience which could be made a lot better through some good old fashioned process improvement.
