Lots of places were fully booked for valentines, but quartinos had lots of availability and it was definitely a worth experience. The pizza was amazing, soft and good flavor. Prices for all dishes were reasonable for the amount of food you get unlike most places. The salad was delicious and the beef pasta (i forget the exact name) pictured below was also nice and hot right out of the kitchen. The risotto was okay, well cooked but probably just not my thing. I would definitely recommend the pizza here and next time would get more pizza rather than the pasta + risotto but still very good. Service was nice and even though it was busy we had very little wait time for our food and service

This place is huge and loud. It feels like a classic red sauce Italian joint and has some amazing offerings. It runs incredibly efficient and clearly has amazing back and front of house processes. We never felt forgotten and service was above and beyond friendly. Couple of elements brought it down a star. The meats and cheeses are a little confusingly priced, just go for the sampler if you're doing more than 3 items. The fontina came out cold unfortunately, but we were able to let it sit to room temperature and it was much better. The olives were incredibly unique and really varied in flavor and texture. The apricot puree was clean and fresh but also inexplicably baby food. The candied fruit mix served with the meat was extremely spicy (mustard seed forward) and overshadowed any of the sweet fruit. The chicken Parm is ridiculously overpriced for one piece of chicken, over breaded and over fried. It comes with nothing, so you have to shell out another $9 (about a $30 total cost) for a 1/2 spaghetti with a delicious homemade tomato sauce. The pizza is far and away the stand out, cooked perfectly crispy, delicious dough, outstanding flavors, and a unique cheese blend. Easily a 5 star pizza place alone. It's a wild, bustling experience and truly fun with great service.

Great high-quality Italian spot that really stands out, especially with its focus on small plates that make it easy to try a variety of dishes. Everything is made with top-quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite. The fresh pasta is a highlight, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The ability to order smaller portions and share makes it a fun and flexible dining experience, whether you are out for a casual meal or a night with friends. It encourages trying more of the menu, and honestly, it is hard to go wrong with any choice. The service is just as impressive as the food. Staff are attentive, friendly, and help create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The overall vibe is lively yet comfortable, making it a place you want to linger and enjoy. On top of everything, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, which makes the experience even better. Great food, great service, and great value all come together here. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again.

Definitely worth the price. Excellent food, top tier service, great selection of wine and authentic Italian food. Our server Lulu was wonderful. Update: We decided to come here a second time. The food here is just excellent. Service is swift and friendly.

We had amazing time at Quartino in our Chicago trip! Food is really yum and yet reasonably priced! I highly recommend spicy kale pizza. It was unusual but full with flavor and great texture. The server went above and beyond to mark our menu with vegetarian options given our dietary preferences. Would definitely stop by again if I make Chicago trip

It’s a nice spot for medium to large group sizes or parties! They have a wide menu with some classic American Italian dishes like fettuccine alfredo and bruschetta but with their own twist on them. They have options for each plate to be smaller shareable or medium shareable. Each dish we got was ok, not fantastic like other reviews have said. But it was fun to try a bunch of different dishes and share! They were also kind for our birthday guest and gave us a slice of tiramisu! It was quite an expensive meal for 7 people but divided between us I suppose fair for downtown. Cute decor and very kind staff. You do have to go upstairs for the bathroom though. They also have outdoor seating! Overall good experience but only ok food.

Quartino is a very popular spot in Chicago, so definitely plan ahead and make a reservation. Even with a reservation, expect a short wait of about 5–10 minutes before being seated, but it’s absolutely worth it. The pizza is outstanding. The crust, the undercarriage, and the quality of the ingredients are all perfectly executed, creating a truly authentic and satisfying experience. Service was attentive and efficient, adding to the overall great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, making it a solid choice for both casual dinners and special outings. A nice touch, depending on where you’re seated, you might even catch a classic Italian movie playing, which adds to the charm of the place.

This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The food is amazing and a lot of it in made in house! Our waiter Trevor was so attentive and kind and gave some great recommendations. They even brought us dessert since we were celebrating both my birthday and our 20th year anniversary. If we come back to Chicago this will definitely be on our list!
