JR and his crew were amazing! They began the morning with a phone call asking if we’d like some coffee or anything to drink! They were extra kind to my dad prepping his vintage audio equipment and they went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. They were also very reasonably priced compared to other companies in the area and hustled the whole time. My dad was incredibly impressed with their work ethic, something that he said is a rarity these days 😅 A huge thank you to JR, Leo and Eric! Seriously, we never had such an amazing experience with movers!
JR, Leo, and Eric were incredibly fast, efficient, and professional throughout the entire move. They worked quickly without sacrificing quality, making the process smooth and stress-free. What impressed me most was the care they took with my belongings every item was handled with attention and respect, and nothing was damaged during the move. MAGNIFICENT MOVERS!!! I am Over-Joyed and satisfied by the Professionalism of Dulis, Logan and Angel performed... On Sunday February 22nd, Theses 3 men came prepared to Get-The-Job-Done. Now, due to a legal matter I needed a trusted organization to safely pack and quickly move my property. I checked around and choose New City Movers based on their ability not only provide my service need, but they listened carefully, listed my inventory. On the day of they phoned in advance to assure me of their arrival time, although it was slightly earlier than agreed, The office made the necessary adjustments that I would not be charged for an earlier arrival. At the start, the guys wasted no time and despite the condo association's havoc, these men proved capable and calm and got the job done. I appreciated Dulis checking in on me from time to time regarding the progress, and for certain items I wanted to personally transport, Logan lovingly placed them in our vehicle... How Impressive!! I must also thank Eddie and Jase, as the day of the move was patient during the fund transfer!!! **Most Important Does Everyone know New City offers a set rate storage - This REALLY Made this transaction SMOOTHE ** May Jehovah God certainly Bless New City and their Amazing Magnificent Staff, in Jesus Name! Hans and Angelo were great and I highly recommend them for your next move! This was my first time hiring professional movers and I had several questions about the process and pricing. Hans provided reassurance by communicating everything from start to finish including a breakdown of the bill. Hans and Angelo were both efficient and careful when moving my items. All items made it to my new home without any issues!
Today I had the two hardest working guys in the moving business for my crew, Andrew and Harold They were fast, friendly, accommodating, careful, professional and, above all, hard working. Fullly blanket and shrink wrapped all my furniture to prepare for a double move. I highly recommend and would use these guys again should I have the need. Super happy customer.

I have been a realtor in Chicago for 20 years. I have never written a bad review about a vendor until this post. I tried New City Movers for the first time with my personal property and these movers ruined my floors. They did not put any protective floor coverings down and they didn’t use any caution while moving my items. While trying to move my couch they scratched my wood floors in many areas causing significant damage. There were roughly seven areas that’s were badly damaged. In one scenario one of their movers took a black sharpie and tried to fill in one of the scratches without consulting me. It made the scenario way worse (photos included)! I have since reported this to management and their insurance. They offered me $900 for a job that cost me $8500 to fix. No apology, no attempt at fixing the issue… nothing. I know from experience that this is not how other moving companies would treat you. There are plenty of other good movers in Chicago, but please do NOT use this company.
