Spare Birdie

Had such a great time here in Austin. The space is huge and really well designed with live music, food, drinks, and games all in one place. The vibe is fun but still elevated, perfect for a night out with friends or a casual date night. I loved that there was always something going on so it never felt boring. The live music was a highlight and made the whole experience feel really lively. Definitely a spot I would come back to.

Was therefore a small gathering, called had multiple days to reserve a few tables together on the patio. Knew that there would be a 90s cover band playing that evening and wanted to make sure we had a good view of the stage as well as still in the shade before it got dark. The group that initially took my reservation request was very polite and courteous, and helped me get a hold of the events planner. Miss Pearson called me that afternoon to confirm what we were hoping to desire from our visit. And was very informative on what they had to offer and what I needed to make sure I did to confirm everything involved in the reservation. They were very diligent with everything and reconfirming multiple times during the week that our reservation was correct that they had on their schedule. Once arriving, they promptly showed us to our table which was spectacular, and the white staff was next to none with their help on everything! During the evening they kept coming to make sure everything was good, refilling everything that needed to be refilled and kept the table clean as we completed our food. There are times where you have reservation people that promised the world, and the white staff and the crew that’s working that night that failed to deliver. That was not the case here. Everything from initial contact to the time we got in our car to leave was spectacular would recommend these guys for not only the good food, the great atmosphere, but the spectacular service that they offer.

This place is perfect for work team events. I recently had one here and worked with Emily, the Events Manager, to help customize our experience as far as activities, food, and drinks that would stay within budget. She was amazing to work with and made the planning process absolutely worry-free. For our group of 17, we booked a couple of virtual bays for several hours. The bays had a lot of different sports and shooting game options, and everyone had a blast. Our server, Noah, was awesome and extremely attentive throughout. For food, we enjoyed selections from their share-ables menu, including sliders and flatbreads, and everything was delicious. The event was a hit with the group and I can’t thank the Spare Birdie staff enough for hosting our event.

Really disappointed with our recent visit to Spare Birdie. The quality used to be so good, but it has gone downhill badly. We ordered the parmesan fries and they had a strange oily and plastic-like smell that made them hard to eat. The sliders were also extremely oily and smelled off. After eating, it even upset our stomachs and made us feel sick. Definitely not the fresh and flavorful food we used to enjoy here. Hoping they improve the food quality soon.

What a great experience at Spare Birdie. The salmon dish was phenomenal! It was perfectly charred on the outside, and moist on the inside with a risotto-type flavor from the mashed potatoes, and it also included a honey mustard finish, which is really pleasant on the palate. The mango relish did also bring a nice sweetness to it, and so the way it was presented and plated was really nice and elegant for the setting. Well done!

Had a great time at Spare Birdie. The service was really good, everyone was friendly, and the overall atmosphere made it a fun place to hang out for a few hours. It’s a great mix of bowling, drinks, food, and entertainment all in one spot. The vibe was lively without feeling overwhelming, and it worked well whether you’re there with friends, family, or just looking for something fun to do. I also liked that it felt kid-friendly while still being enjoyable for adults too. Definitely a solid place if you want a casual night out with games, drinks, and good energy.

Nice place for large group outings. Our family had fun with the interactive video games and bowling. Food was good - sliders in particular.

My very first time visiting. I had the Jalapeno Bacon Jam Burger, which was delicious and very filling! I had a great conversation with the bartender while I enjoyed the Pistons game, who was extraordinarily friendly!
