FIRSTLY, THEY SAVED MY LIFE! Yeah, had the double “Widow maker” coronary Heart Attack. Went from, would have been dead in another hour, to walking out of there with 2 Stents in my formerly blocked Arteries, 3 days later. Shout out to Dr. Robert C. Schutt the Cardiologist. And 4th Floor West Wing Dr. Prasanthi Arety. All my Nurses were amazing on the 4th Floor West. But the Rock Star RN was Courtney, and her positive Energy. It was like having Sunshine in my room. And then there is the Accommodations. My room was huge, airy, and clean. Large double Windows. Felt like a Hotel, and it was all to myself. THEN THERES THE FOOD: Not kidding. The FOOD is Incredible here. Everything I had was great, tasted scratch made. Veggies were Al Dente’, not mushy. Meats were Tender and perfectly seasoned. Starches were perfectly done. Like mashed sweet potatoes? Come here 😀. Baked Goods not over sweet. Fruits were fresh, vibrant. You can order as much as you want every meal. Want Fish and Steak (yup steak), sure, just ask. The best Ham and Veggie Omelet I EVER HAD, was from this Cafeteria (sorry “First Watch”). They have turned the dreaded Hospital bad food Cliche’ into dust! I was stunned as a Food Reviewer. I’m actually coming here to eat at the Cafeteria downstairs a few times a month to support this Food service operation. Yeah, it’s that good. Coming to the Hospital isn’t pleasant. But this one is run properly with Staff who really care. So when the ambulance asks you where you prefer? Pick this place. My Army of 18 million Viewers needs to try this Cafeteria and give them the bump they deserve. Well done ASCENSION SETON CEDAR PARK HOSPITAL! Thanks for saving my life AND being really great at running a Hospital. ♥️!

I had a procedure done on 4/29 and I just want to say that everyone involved in my healthcare did an amazing job. I especially want to give a shout out to the gal who did my IV. We informed her of my unfortunate habit of passing out when getting poked and homegirl had a phenomenal procedure to make sure that that didn't happen. 10/10 best IV I've gotten ever. Really though, the whole team was amazing and never once did my trust in them falter. They were chatty, cheerful, and joked with me. They honestly low-key high-key had me forgetting that I was in the hospital. They made me feel comfortable and cared for. I will be singing their praises to anyone with ears who is unfortunate enough to be around me. Best team ever and I wish them the absolute best in their careers.

I recently had foot surgery at Ascension Seton Cedar Park, and while the procedure itself appears to have been performed appropriately, my overall experience raised several serious concerns regarding communication, safety, and basic patient care. At discharge, I was given another patient’s paperwork, which is a significant privacy issue. When I reported it, I was told it was “unlikely” my information had been shared, but that does not address the fact that a breach occurred. There was also a medication safety oversight. I take low-dose naltrexone (LDN), which blocks opioid receptors, yet I was prescribed hydrocodone postoperatively. This interaction was not identified or addressed, despite my medications being listed and discussed. Additionally, the medical information in my patient portal appears outdated and inaccurate, including medications and diagnoses. I updated everything during online check-in and attempted to review it with staff, but was told it was already “in the computer.” This creates real safety risks, especially when medication interactions are missed. Communication was also lacking. I was not informed I would be intubated during anesthesia and only realized afterward due to symptoms. I also was not told to expect significant thigh/hip pain from intraoperative positioning, which made my recovery more confusing than it needed to be. Before surgery, I experienced nausea and was given an alcohol wipe to inhale instead of standard medication like Zofran. While I understand this can help temporarily, it did not meet expectations for symptom management in a surgical setting. Basic care issues also stood out. I was initially given a soiled gown and had to request a new one, after which I was given an oversized paper gown and told staff were instructed to use those first. Individually, some of these issues might seem minor, but together they reflect a pattern of poor communication, inconsistent processes, and gaps in patient-centered care. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in safety, communication, and overall patient experience.

I wish I could give this hospital 0/5 stars. Do not deliver your baby here. I delivered our baby in December 2024 when it was still cedar park regional medical center. We are still discussing bills with them from the 2024 delivery. The delivery was uncomplicated as well - no induction, stayed one night, with no complications for mom or baby. Billing was death by a million cuts for a year plus one bill for $1k over a year after delivery when now the hospital is now under different ownership. We filed a dispute for timely billing which they never replied to. The hospital billing system is shady and corrupt. Avoid if you can! We will NEVER go back. And we’re filing a complaint with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). We also have good Cigna insurance for reference as well.

This hospital was a very disappointing experience. I came for labor and delivery, and unfortunately, many of the nurses did not seem confident in their roles. Even without medical training, with just basic sense you can tell they are making mistakes repeatedly, requiring others to step in for assistance. Several staff members came across as unhelpful and at times rude. There was very little proactive support with newborn care—most assistance was only provided after repeatedly asking for it, which was frustrating during such a sensitive time. In addition, much of the equipment appeared outdated or not functioning properly, yet it was still being used. Overall, the experience did not meet the level of care and professionalism expected in a maternity setting.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had at any medical facility. Completely rude and incompetent from the beginning to the end. I had one appointment 4 years ago and have been fighting for the records since. I had an MRI at this location which was awful. They were rude and stabbed me several times trying to put in the IV and just let it bleed all over me. Then I had an office appointment with a neurologist to discuss the MRI where she told me I’m fine I just need to stop eating salt. I told her I am a vegetarian and I make all my own food and average 900 mg a day (well below AHA recommended max for adults) and she lectured me about eating Chick-Fil-A and how much salt is in it. Completely unhelpful, rude, disrespectful, didn’t listen, you name it she did it. And she told me I was perfectly fine. Other neurologists I saw later said the MRI showed abnormalities and she should have addressed them and treated me. HUGE ISSUE!!! Wtaf???? Then I tried to get a copy of the images. I called their medical records department and was told it couldn’t be released to anyone at all. Then I called a different day and was told to have my PCP request them. When I called to check why my PCP never received them I was told I had to fill out a form the previous person neglected to mention. I filled out the form online and was told I had to come in to show my face and ID. I came in and was told they wouldn’t release the images to anyone because they are property of CPRMC. That’s a lie. You always own your own medical info. I called a few months later and got someone who said they would mail a disc to me - no form needed, no ID needed, just the phone call. Two months later I hadn’t gotten it and called back. They said they mailed it and to keep waiting. Another month later I called back and was told they lost the sticky note with my request on it so no one ever made or mailed the dvd. I then got it in the mail. After 9 months of back and forth and unnecessary hassle and lies and them repeatedly failing to do simple tasks. Absolutely incompetent!!! Now, I need the digital records for a different PCP. They are doing the same thing all over again. Every time I call I get a different person with a different answer and none of the answers are correct or have gotten me my records. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They overcharge you, disrespect you, don’t give you your records and should be sued for malpractice!

I had a very disappointing postpartum discharge experience at this hospital. At the time of discharge, I had a fever and expressed concerns that I was not feeling well enough to leave. Although my doctor agreed that I could stay a little longer, nurse gave me Tylenol, and once my temperature temporarily came down, I felt pressured to leave immediately. What was most upsetting was the lack of empathy and professionalism. I was told that some patients “give these kinds of reasons before discharge because they want to rest,” which felt dismissive and insensitive, especially as I was recovering after childbirth and genuinely unwell. Unfortunately, my condition worsened after discharge, and I had to return to the ER with a high fever, where I spent nearly 12 hours receiving care. During that time, my 5-day-old baby had to remain at home, and I was unable to care for or feed my newborn as planned. As a new mother, I expected compassion, careful evaluation of my symptoms, and support during a vulnerable time. Instead, I felt rushed out despite clearly expressing concerns about my health. I hope the hospital reviews its postpartum discharge practices and ensures that future patients are treated with greater empathy, professionalism, and attention to their medical needs.

I was actually denied a neurology appointment for my referral because of the specifics of it, but I talked to a man named Jole on the phone and that's what this review is about. I've been to Ascension seaton for other problems and for a couple surgeries before under the knife of Dr Bruce, who is an absolute master at his craft and an absolute tyrant with his bedside manners. But man he is an absolute genius of a surgeon and he is brutally honest which I will take over sugarcoating any day. But this review is about Jole. I called to try to get that appointment set again and he explained in detail why they couldn't schedule me and apologize profusely and even personally apologized and wished me luck on recovering and getting better and I could feel that he really meant it through the phone and I have so much appreciation for people that actually care about their jobs and other people. So this one is for you Jole, thank you buddy. Also, to Dr Bruce, I'll probably see you again soon ❤️ thank you for all the work you do there guys, you help and save a lot of people
