Visitor notes
A really nice, free garden that is worth visiting if you are in the area. My fiance and I visited for the first time a few weeks ago and were impressed with the clean, well arranged garden and pretty koi pond. The garden itself was very nice and had lots of interesting plants and landscape features, however the river/gorge surrounding the garden on both sides unfortunately seems to be a popular place to dump trash and other junk. It's unfortunate that people have decided that throwing stuff in the river next to the garden is the right call, but that can't at all be blamed on the garden itself or it's staff. This is a really nice spot to visit and I'd happily come back again.
Small but bountiful! Very well kept and flanked by two creeks running side by side for a tranquil experience! Easy parking with a theater and a senior center outside. There are pagodas, small bridges and a few easily accessible tea areas. Plenty of spaces for photo ops too!
small and quaint and very well organized! i liked how peaceful it was compared to other japanese gardens in the area / other states. yeah it's smaller than others but because it's smaller it's more calm and peaceful and generally cleaner :) a great place to just lounge around and read if you want a quiet space to chill!
Really nice and quiet spot to visit with family. The garden is clean, well kept, and very relaxing. Kids will enjoy watching the koi fish. Great place for a quick peaceful break.
Very nice and quiet place! Good place for dating and if you just want a few quiet minutes for yourself
Wonderful maintenance of the garden. All the shrubs were trimmed beautifully. Small ponds of fishes attracts Children.
This place feels like a hidden gem. It’s not huge, but it’s calm, clean, and beautifully designed. I liked just sitting for a bit and enjoying the scenery.
