Maison Premiere

It’s great to know that Maison Premiere is still the best bar in Brooklyn. The food menu has gotten a new and refreshing makeover. The tuna crudo was exceptionally fresh and flavorful —high quality fish and very unique. Oyster selection and martinis were delicious as always. The best part of our experience were our wonderful servers Nikita and Pat. True superstars of hospitality.

Absolutely outstanding. One of my favorites bars in the whole city. A must visit during the summer months in particular Our staff was amazing and everything from the drinks to the food was just spectacular. Standouts were the dirty rice as well as the oysters (a must - definitely get the east coast ones). The mussels were also fantastic. Get the dessert. The fresh baked Madeline’s made to order are some of the best I’ve ever had.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Maison Premiere in Williamsburg, NYC, USA. An outstanding seafood restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg — a true hidden gem! The entrance has a bit of a speakeasy vibe — there’s a small sign, but you need to look carefully to find it, and you enter through swinging saloon-style doors, which immediately set the mood. Inside, you’re transported to another decade: a beautiful oval bar, dim, jazzy lighting, and tables set close together, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere. Service was excellent — efficient and knowledgeable. We tried a selection of four different oysters, all fresh and unique, perfectly recommended by our waiter. The crab cake was outstanding — crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, served with a great spicy sauce. We also had mussels and a salad, both well prepared, and ended with warm madeleines that were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Overall, an exceptional dining experience — elegant yet unpretentious, full of character and flavor. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable seafood dinner in Williamsburg!

absolutely marvelous! stopped by on a brooklyn trip and so glad i did! we sat at the bar and noah was so knowledgeable and patient! he gave great recommendations and managed to answer all our questions, make great conversation, and get our drinks out lightning quick! the oysters were marvelous, the dirty rice too, but the scallops were just superb! great spot for date night; dim lighting, oval bar, and jazz! highly highly recommend

The ultimate seafood tower! Had a lovely time here celebrating a birthday. They have fun cocktails, fresh seafood, and attentive staff. The atmosphere and aesthetic is cool, feels like you’re transported outside of Williamsburg and into vintage NOLA. All in all, would recommend and go again!

Lovely warm welcome from hosts. The bar, not so much, we got attention from one guy and then it shifted to another. There was no sense of urgency to attend to our needs. It seems and FELT as if though other customers at the bar were of most importance. One food cleared on my end and the other left infront of my quest, we would have drank more than 2 drinks each if it didnt take forever to get the bartenders attention, order the drink and then having to wait another long period for the drink. Was just a dry experience. Food was good, atmosphere out of this world. Sadly, was looking for a nice place to host an event.

I can't believe it took me so long to go here. Their cocktails are top notch and expertly prepared, and the oyster selection is really impressive. They had holiday cocktail specials and live jazz in front. The back garden area looked really inviting but I was happy at the bar watching the bartender. Definitely felt like Williamsburg by way of New Orleans, in an upscale way.

It’s top-notch for oysters. But we never expect the oysters from East Coast become our favourite! We were giving a try on the Thatch Island oysters, and we kind of having least expectations on them. Yet after the first bite, they were do fresh and balanced in the creaminess and crispness. The flavor cames earthly and mineral but also sweet! They are the no.1 of the day! We ordered the Dirty Rice and we thought it was just like a risotto. But it’s more than that! It’s rich in favour of Japanese Bonito and lobster, savoury and tasty! The Crab Toast was comparatively less among all. All dishes we paired with a glass of French Rose and the Forever IPA. This restaurant is now the top of my list in seafood bar of NYC!
