La Bagel Delight

These are the bagels everyone misses from NYC. Fresh, crispy and soft with any ingredient you could wish for. They also have gluten free bagels that are tasty and that's not an easy find for gluten free anything to taste like normal. The service is always friendly and fast. All you need is a ziplock bag if taking these on the plane. Truly delicious and reheats well.

Friendly staff, plenty of great options, and the best bacon, egg, and cheese in NYC. If you’re in Park Slope, you can’t go wrong with a BEC at La Bagel.

202405 Recommended by my Brooklyn-raised friend and I’ll owe my thanks to him. The bagel: proper bagel delight! Perfectly rolled and boiled and baked and toasted. Best Pumpernickel Everything I’ve had— the everything mix isn’t too overpowering and salty and onion-ly, and it actually goes well with pumpernickel, which I usually eat plain because it already has rye and caraway seed aroma. And look at the gorgeous texture!! The filling: Lovely tofu spread. Generous enough but not too thick. There are many other choices. The grill also looks amazing. The place: Wooden interior. Efficient staff. Clean restroom. I packed two bagels and after tasting another pair for my transatlantic flight :3

Top-notch bagels, especially pumpernickel. Best one I’ve tried anywhere so far. The avocado cream cheese is delicious, many great-looking toppings to choose from, and the service is superb - Robert is an amazing team member! Thank you!! Highly recommend.

The 7th St La Bagel Delight is not only an exceptional bagel. I would argue that it is in fact the embodiment of much of what makes New York City great. The service is fast and efficient for a clientele that’s on the go, with a well-oiled and heavily staffed assembly line. But it’s also personal and friendly — the kind of place that will smile at your toddler and hand them a cookie on the house. It’s reasonably priced and high quality food, especially if you ask for whatever bagel just came out of the oven. You can tell how much pride they take in making a great bagel and creating a positive experience for their customers and for the community. All in all, it’s the kind of no frills local institution that will remind you why you love this city.

I’ve been wanting bagels all week and I stopped by this amazing place and it gave me exactly what I wanted!! Lain bagel toasted with cream cheese and a fresher squeezed OJ! The Oj was actually perfectly balanced super good not to sweet not to tart very good! And chilledB the bagel was perfect fluffy and soft and warm on the inside and crunchy outside! But not too hard it was perfect looking forward to try their other bagels all the types of bagels looked very fresh! They also have food and a deli with great variety!! They have bakery items and I am looking forward to trying their food soon!! Great place ! I paid $17.25 for a bagel , fresh squeezed oj , small mini banana loaf and this included a tip I left.

Just the best bagel shop. The service is incredible, they make you feel like family. The bagels are all unbelievably delicious! Love the beverages as well. 10/10!

Staff member was quite rude to me. He expressed annoyance that I wasn’t immediately paying attention to him upon my arrival. He then took my order–a plain bagel toasted with a little bit of butter–before taking the full sandwich order of a patron behind me. I was made to wait 10 minutes while he finished making the elaborate sandwich order of the person behind me while my toasted bagel got cold on the toaster tray. He then told me to drop my attitude when I asked if he could make sure the bagel was warm before he buttered it. So, he made me wait 10 minutes & expected no annoyance after hypocritically getting annoyed with me for making him wait less than 30 seconds when I first got there. On top of all this, he smeared the bagel with butter even though I had stated twice that I only wanted a little bit of butter. There are plenty of bagel spots in the neighborhood. Save yourself the headache & go somewhere else. Terrace Bagels & Postmark have better bagels anyway.
