7th Ave Donuts & Diner

I’ve been coming here for a while and everything I’ve tried has been great. The donuts are always fresh and delicious but my absolute favorite is the blueberry pie. I honestly come here just for it sometimes. The staff is always friendly, and the service is consistently fast and welcoming. Another huge plus is that they’re open 24/7 which is super convenient. Definitely one of my favorite spots when I’m craving something sweet.

(Originally 5 stars) I’ve honestly always enjoyed coming to this place because the atmosphere feels very welcoming and home-like, and the service has usually been great. That’s why today’s experience was so disappointing. This was my first time being served by this particular waitress, and from the very beginning she came across as rude and disrespectful toward both me and my pregnant wife. She is a white-skinned woman with glasses and blondish-brown hair fading into gray. While we were waiting to be seated, her attitude already felt dismissive. After we sat down, we waited several minutes just to receive menus even though the diner was not busy. When she finally brought them over, she tossed the menus onto the table instead of handing them to us. A couple minutes later she returned to take our order, and when we politely asked for another minute, she smacked her lips and rolled her eyes before walking away. We ordered waffles with sausage, home fries, and strawberries, but the order was entered incorrectly. After we finished ordering, she looked at us and said, “That’s it? You aren’t going to order any drinks?” We politely replied, “No, we’ll just have water,” and once again she rolled her eyes and walked away. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was watching her interact warmly and respectfully with other customers while treating us completely differently. I’ve been to this diner three times before and never experienced this level of disrespectful service. The entire visit made me feel unwelcome, and honestly, I considered getting up and leaving because of her attitude. I really enjoy this diner and wanted to continue supporting it, but after today’s experience, I’m not sure I’ll be returning for Friday morning breakfast/brunch anymore.

7th Ave Donuts and Diner is a solid neighborhood spot that hits the spot any time of day. The donuts are fresh and satisfying, and the diner food is comforting and well made. Service is friendly and the vibe feels old-school in a good way. A great place to grab breakfast or a quick bite when you're nearby.

Okay so the doughnuts look better than they taste! Do not be fooled :P me and my friend bought like 5 super excited but they were mid. TO BE CLEAR THE SERVICE WAS AWESOME AND THE PPL WERE GREAT; the doughnuts, however, were a miss

CASH ONLY! A classic New York City diner! The staff were super friendly and they were busy but moving so quick when we visited. The food was delicious! We had the French toast and an omelette and both were amazing! The fruit on the French toast was fresh and the sweetness level was perfect. The omelette was solid but I was addicted to the fried potatoes! We took a chocolate glazed donut to go which was delicious and I’ll be back to try more soon!

Great experience. Server was exceptional and managing the entire place by herself. The other 2 men I saw behind the counters were innocently hilarious. I plan on visiting each time I return to Brooklyn. ..and yes, food was delicious and so was the presentation with very reasonable pricing. Place only accepts cash, so keep this in mind.

Really cool place. You can get doughnuts as soon as you walk in. If you wanted to sit even at the counter, please do! Very friendly and it didn't take long to get my doughnuts. The best things was the cinnamon roll😍.

The donuts are out of this world! Excellent service, friendly neighborhood diner that feels like old-school Brooklyn (in the best way.) And they make my favorite donuts. Did I say that already? I'll keep saying it, the marble crullers are amazing.
