Central Animal Hospital Boca Raton

I’ve been going to Central Animal Hospital since I was a child, back when Dr. Goby ran it, and the level of care and compassion is still just as excellent. The entire team is professional, kind, and truly passionate about animals. All of the vets consistently go above and beyond for their patients. Yesterday my husband and our puppy arrived with no appointment after a car accident, and our puppy was seen immediately. My mother-in-law couldn’t stop praising how caring and attentive the whole team was during such a stressful moment. I’ve seen all the doctors over the years and always had great experiences, but I especially want to thank Dr. Leonard. She has taken the time to truly get to know our new puppy and our family, and has guided us through some unexpected challenges with dedication and professionalism. We’re so grateful she’s our sweet Zoey’s vet. Highly recommend Central Animal Hospital—they’re exceptional.

Thank you for the wonderful care during our recent visit. Dr. Kanis is the kind of veterinarian every pet owner hopes to find, truly one of a kind. She combines real expertise with a calm, thoughtful way of caring for both animals and the people who love them. She takes her time, explains things clearly, and even follows up afterward, which speaks volumes about how much she truly cares. Taylor was also incredibly patient and kind with us during the visit; the front desk staff were also wonderful and welcoming, and we really appreciated how quickly they brought us in. The whole experience felt attentive, sincere, and professional. I’m very grateful Aspen is in such capable hands. We are blessed to have Dr. Kanis as our pet’s doctor and we truly adore her. Thank you to the whole team!!!

We have 2 Shibas. Anyone that is familiar with the breed knows that they can be “difficult”. The professional staff at Central Animal hospital have made friends with my 2 monsters. The care, attention and focus on them has been so pleasant. They staff are great with animals and their owners too. 💯 these are the people you want taking care of your fur babies.

New pet dog. I have been a happy dog owner of 3 dogs over many years and have come to Central Animal hospital over many years with each dog. My recent visit with Dr. Lavenko was terrific as always. My dog came from a shelter and the examination given was to assure me of how to care for her issues. Dr. Lavenko was caring and patient and thorough answering my constant questions. I want to add that all the vets are terrific and knowledgeable as I have experienced appointment s with them also. The front desk is patient and always tries to accommodate the day/ time I need.. The assisting staff is gentle and experienced with all pet issues.

CAH was very professional and welcoming when we took our sick kitty there. Every doctor and tech was understanding and compassionate. Even though our sick kitty eventually passed we will come back here when we are ready for a new pet. I recommend these vets and will bring our next pet here for it's care.

I would like to thank the amazing staff at Central for saving my little Crickets eye last night! From the moment I walked in and handed her over for emergency care she was treated wonderfully to do everything possible to save her eye, keep her comfortable and have her back in my arms. I came in to facility after 9pm and she was back to me in less than 3 hours and we were on our way home to rest and recover. They had other cases and triaged as required and still maintained an excellent outcome for my Cricket. They provided a more than fair, no crazy upcharges estimate considering her injury and went to work! They had all medications required for her home after care as well. Because of my drive time to get there it wasn't realistic to go home and back after procedure and they provided a comfortable room for me to stay. A very special thank you to Dr. STORMS!!! you are a blessing to Cricket and a huge asset to Central. I highly recommend them for their urgent care! **after I was home I realized you cut her nails as well!! She has been a beast to allow us to do it and it just shows your care to review the rest of her tiny body and help out where she needed it!

Nothing but 5 stars across the board ! Starting with the front desk staff -any and all administrative issues are addressed and resolved immediately. Since Danielle began as Office Manager- she has done an amazing job. The techs and all of the vets are amazing ! You can tell this is not just a job- but they truly love and care about all of the animals! Having my vet available 7 days/week plus emergency after hours is absolutely wonderful. I have referred so many to the practice…and everyone has had the same positive experiences I consistently do with my two dogs and cat!

This hospital has amazing doctors and staff. They are all caring, welcoming in any situation, you can tell they love doing what they are doing. I have been thru, healthy, boarding, sick, injured and passed, each and every time thay were comforting and handled my pets with tender loving care and they are genuine. The facility is clean, fair priced, and everyone is very accommodating to you and pets needs, including honest advise. You dont get that in many places. Thank you CAH, for being who you guys are, simply the best.
