Easy process. The nurse was very gentle and knowledgeable of what she was doing. I expressed my concerns and she did everything she could to make sure they were taken care of. Likely the best mammogram I've ever had, if that is a thing.
Let me start off by saying this does not apply to everyone I encountered at this hospital. My actual procedure (c section) was quick and the staff reassured me every few minutes everything was fine. (No issues there). My initial visit to the hospital was assumed I was about to have my baby and in active labor with contractions every 3 minutes for hours on end. A night time nurse who was extremely pushy for me to leave and go home. She even argued with me about the way I felt. I was highly annoyed. She discharged me 24 hours later still with contractions every 3 minutes but only right before day shift got there. I came back a few hours later dilated to a 4 mind you I’m a 4 time repeat c section. The grace period after that was great when I came back my surgery went well, the doctor was funny and so nice. 😊 Once I was discharged from the hospital my daughter was still in the nicu. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST NICU EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. No one knew what they were doing and at some point my daughter was neglected throughout the night not being fed the proper amounts to promote her sodium levels as well as weight, which brought us back to another day in the nicu, they then moved her rooms 3 times and moved us twice, resulting in us sleeping on a very small uncomfortable couch after my c section. Then none of the dr orders were followed through by the doctor. Every nurse wanted to change things according to how they wanted to do things. I absolutely hated my experience here and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If you have had a great experience then
I had an excellent experience at this hospital during my scheduled surgery. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring. The nurses, anesthesiologist, and entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. Their compassion and attentiveness truly made a difference, and I left feeling confident in the quality of care I received. I genuinely trust this hospital and am very grateful for the exceptional treatment I experienced.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, don’t go here. I haven’t had great experiences with this hospital and this week was the cherry on top. Took my 2yo son in for low oxygen, cough and shortness of breath on Thursday- recommended by his pediatrician. This was the closest hospital. His belly is literally expanding and caving in, his throat caving in- approx 60 breathes per minute, oxygen 86%. Offered him a chest X-ray but said it probably wasn’t necessary and that it “probably wouldn’t tell us much more than what we already know” so we didn’t do it. I’m not the doctor, you tell me what I need to do for my child. Since his oxygen was “fine” they didn’t do much, kind of was surprised when I wanted him to have a breathing treatment. Although that helped he was obviously still in distress but “he has an upper respiratory infection, of course his stomach will look like that” Went home, took him to children’s the next morning. He was admitted, put on high flow oxygen, steroids and antibiotics to treat what they found with a *chest x ray*- PNEUMONIA. Respiratory rate was at 60, in OBVIOUS distress, he’s had multiple breathing treatments here. Northwest employees kind of gas light you, not gonna lie. Anyways, i wouldn’t recommend. ESPECIALLY if it’s your child that’s needing help.
They took great care of me. My nurse, Leslie, was an absolute angel in ever since of the word. Readily available to help, so kind and sincere, very patient and took my life very seriously. I was blown away really with how wonderful she was. Dr Casper and Alahm were great as well.
I had my first baby here and it was a great experience! The hospital staff was very accommodating to a natural birth. I never felt pressured into giving something to my baby or receiving anything that we did not want. Any interventions recommended I was educated about and given options. A lot of travel nurses, but they were all great! Dr. Hannah delivered my baby and followed me throughout my pregnancy.
Today I had an appointment with Dr. Kalyan for 1045. I arrived at address @ 0935 and began looking for parking space. The closest was in front of Outpatient by the street. There is no sidewalk but I began walking. I made it to First floor at 1005. I called his office but was told It was over 15 minutes. Sorry. Then I was told I could be seen tomorrow at 10am. I am scheduled for procedure tomorrow at Bentonville Hospital at 1015. Knowing it takes a month for a appointment I refused. I am being scheduled for surgical procedure.
