Live entertainment is always a good thing right? Well organized ones for sure. We attended the candlelight Hip-hop concert and it was unbelievable! Could have been more soulful but the candles all over the stage and song selection was top tier!!!!

This place is HUGE! So much art and culture to explore. You could easily spend a few hours in this museum. There's art from various countries/cultures, art from various time periods, and art of various mediums (sculptures, pottery, stained glass, ceremonial tools, jewelry, furniture, mosaics, etc.). It was interesting to learn that extensive work had been done to restore/preserve the mosaics as well. I particularly enjoyed the pottery, mosaics, and the colorful beaded sculptures that were throughout the museum. So much creativity in one space. It wasn't too crowded when I went and because of that it was pretty quiet and calm. There's also an outdoor or courtyard area with sculptures. Overall I felt at peace while here and learned a ton about the art pieces there both from a historic and cultural point of view.

It was so fantastic the fact it's free is extra cool. The area is super nice! They had so many different types of art you could take days to explore.

Beautiful art museum. While there, I attended an outdoor installation about the effects of technology verses nature on people. The special exhibit when I visited was the Stages of the Cross by Henri Matese. It was quite amazing to see all of the work that went into the final work of art. The museum did an excellent job displaying the series.

I love any museum of art and Baltimore never disappoints. This trip centered around the Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibit, which I was overjoyed to share with my dad. The free general admission tickets are super easy to get thru the website and adding a donation to your order, if you can, to help keep it free is also simple. The process for reserving tickets to specific installations is a simple process as well. American Sublime was beautiful and I'm so happy that I was able to give my dad this gift before it closed yesterday. We were disappointed that the 3rd floor contemporary/modern art gallery was closed for an installation in progress, but such is the nature of a museum. Before finishing our visit, we had a bite at Gertrude's overlooking a bit of the sculpture gardens. It was a beautiful day to be surrounded by great art. We will definitely be back.

Lovely museum with a beautiful collection. We went on a Sunday early afternoon, and it was a wonderful way to spend the day. The exhibit was free, but we left a donation. The rooms within the museum were painted perfectly to compliment the exhibit. All pieces were spaced carefully to allow for plenty of room for viewing and appreciating. Very good detailed explanations accompanied each piece. Be sure to visit the outer loop exhibit of stone mosaics! The gift shop was beautiful, bright, and offered a lot of gift options. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I highly recommend this stop for an enriching afternoon.

Been going here for 70 years. Now I take grandkids and they love it. Discovering the art thru their eyes is literally eye-opening. Biggest question- why are so many pictures of naked people?

Beautiful evening of music! We gave tickets as a gift to my granddaughter for her 16th bday. She is a passionate music student who loves the songs of The Beatles. It was the perfect performance for her! We loved it and will be going again!
