Cana Island Lighthouse

Simply Gorgeous! We didn't have much planned for the day, and the lady at the information center recommended visiting this lighthouse and it did not disappoint! There's a walking path to the lighthouse, there's a cute gift shop, privy bathrooms, some beach access to get your feet wet and open space to walk around. You can go into the lighthouse and also up the tower for a beautiful view.

Great lighthouse now restored with interpretive center since the last time I went. Friendly staff and water was low so walked across causeway to the island. They do have tractor pulled rides across the causeway if lake is high. First time I was able to actually enter the lighthouse. Love the history of Cana Island on short movie. Also books, gifts, prints, Christmas ornaments and many other souvenirs at Interpretive Center. Beautiful grounds and able to walk to the shore through several areas around the outside.

Beautiful lighthouse! My girlfriend and I came here to take in picturesque door county. Walked around and in the multiple buildings on the outskirts of the lighthouse then went up the lighthouse. Proposed right on the trail and left with a Fiancée😁

I have been visiting Cana Island Lighthouse for over fifty years and I am never disappointed. It has changed over the years. They do have a visitor center now and that is great. Get there when you can climb to the top because the view is fantastic. Even staying on the ground and walking around the lighthouse is worth the price of admission. Another must see spot in Door County!

This was a relaxing, gorgeous stopping point while making our way around Door County for the day. There’s also a cute tractor pull to take you from the parking lot to the location.

This is one of the prettiest lighthouses I’ve ever seen. It is set on a small island with beautiful blue water. There is a gift shop with a variety of items and bottled water. Each of the employees I encountered were helpful and friendly. When you visit, please bring insect repellent, the flies were brutal and bit us relentlessly.

Even though it was rainy and very windy the visit was great! We walked across the causeway with no difficulty. Personnel are friendly and helpful.
