We brought our pup Missy to PAZ South for a second opinion after what honestly felt like a nightmare experience at another vet. Missy had a tumor removed, and the incision site simply would not heal. It kept reopening despite multiple procedures, and we were running out of both options and hope. From the moment we came to PAZ, the difference was immediate. The team was quick, welcoming, supportive, and took the time to understand everything Missy had been through. Dr. Rios, has been incredible!! She gave us a clear, confident game plan and, most importantly, offered an alternative approach that allowed Missy to heal naturally under close supervision instead of jumping straight into more surgeries.The whole staff has given her consistent attention through daily bandage changes and has been incredibly responsive and reassuring throughout the process. Also the reception crew is the besttt! Today, we were told Missy is nearing the end of her bandage care, and we couldn’t be more relieved or grateful. She’s not fully done with care yet, but for the first time, we feel relief. PAZ South has exceeded every expectation without breaking the bank. We are so thankful to Dr. Rios and the entire technician team for helping our gal. <<3

I've been coming to Paz South for several years and pets now and I am so grateful that the team continues to be human about every step we take. They are patient, kind, and understanding in a field that requires it but in my experience I've not always found has it. I had an aggressive little chihuahua, a very friendly cat, and now my big nervous boy (pictured) who they have never hesitated to be understanding with. I appreciate that they're implementing some things on a system level like online booking and the payment at the end to make things easier, those small pieces really play into the overall experience. I don't mind that their prices might be a little higher on occasion because of the care we receive, it's worth it. We love PAZ :D

I’ve been coming to Paz for several years and it is always such a wonderful experience for me and my dog. I’ve been able to call often and get a same day appointment and they’ve expanded booking to allow you to schedule appointments online. They are thoughtful about your pet seeing a physician they’ve seen before and have created cozy welcoming spaces. I went today after noticing my dog needed same day care for an illness and the staff was so kind and inviting. The front desk staff Linny and Jameson really stood out as inviting people and are a testament to the hospitality of Paz.

Great peacful peaceful environment! Friendly and kind staff. Our visit was informative and we treated so nicely. They answered my questions. The Dr. made sure I was well informed didn't push their products, infact suggested other items for a cost conscious person as myself. My girl Mia was treated very kindly.

I've been to a few vets in the Austin area in my baby's 10 year life. I wish I had just started at Paz! They are SO kind and caring. Very thorough and got my girl taken care of right away. I had come to them for a second opinion before doing surgery and they surpassed expectations I could not have even imagined. They healed up something a vet had just ignored 3 days prior. Hands down the place you should pick!

I am immensely grateful for Paz South. They make a stressful experience as easy as possible. On several occasions I've been able to get my cat in to see a doctor on the same day, with no emergency surcharge. I love them.
