Phillips Park Zoo

This zoo provided a highly enjoyable experience. Despite its compact size, it offered a rewarding day out. Ample parking was available, and the facility was designed for user-friendliness, with comprehensive signage throughout. Additionally, a small water play area for children and a garden enhanced the visit. It is an excellent venue for family outings. Oh, and it's FREE

I liked it, but currently 5/24, many of the animals are away for the season. It's fun and I liked what I saw, but it's really hot outside and the wolf wouldn't come out and I was sad about that. Anywho, it's good. I'd recommend it. Maybe not right now but when it's darker for the owl and cooler for all the animals to be out.

This local park has been visited by our family for many years. There is a 1 mile walking trail around the pond, flower garden, zoo, golf course, water park, dog park, Mammoth historical island, historical visitor center, lights in the winter, sand volleyball, soccer field and more. Despite a change in demographics, it’s still a beautiful park and place to enjoy nature.

Fun Free park/Zoo. Who could ask for more. They had lots of cool animals. No big cats or giraffes or such but local animals are there. Worth the trip. They could also use some support so if you go please spare a few dollars for the upkeep.

The Phillips Park Zoo is a neat little Zoo in a very nice park. The zoo is free as well and open all year as well which is nice. The zoo also has a lot events throughout the years which makes it fun to keep visiting the zoo. There also is a little museum about a mastodon there as well which is fun to walk around as well.

I have been to this zoo many times. It's free for everyone. The zoo is small, and while we were there a good amount of the animals were not on exhibit. The zoo is showing signs of wear and tear. The visitor center could use a good clean up. Love being able to go in there and look at the bones on display. However the space feels empty. The sunken garden was beautiful as always. We drove to see the waterfall, and spent time admiring the park grounds as well. It's definitely somewhere you should stop if given the chance.

Such a wonderful place with so much to do with little kids ❤️ went on a Friday and there was plenty of parking in the morning. The parks/playgrounds are beautiful and well kept. My kiddos loved the owl and eagle and the big bones in the museum. Absolutely worth a visit - and its free!!

Awesome little zoo super cute in every season! 🌸🐮 🐺 🐦 🐍 In spring and summer, the flower garden is absolutely beautiful, and even in winter there’s so much charm. The free holiday light show is amazing and makes it extra special for families. A wonderful place to visit in Aurora, I highly recommend!
