Coolhorse

UPDATED EDIT: Smarty Horse reached out to us directly to remedy the issue. We're going to be returning the defective dummy and they're going to be shipping us a new one. Thank you! If I could select a zero I would. We bought a Heel-O-Matic Trainer from Coolhorse around August 30, 2025. It took about a month for the foam legs to break and be un-opperational. Replacements were sent at an acceptable time to put back together. On Jan 5 we noticed the body had cracked and also the hole in the body was wearing out. By the end of the practice it had broken through the part that makes it rotational to hop which actually holds the body together. Jan 6 we sent pictures to Coolhorse of our problems, they also reached out to Heel-O-Matic . Coolhorse replied back sending another set of legs and a text saying Heel-O-Matic would be contacting us because there is obviously a manufacturing issue. We again contacted the Coolhorse rep Jan 17 again with another reply of Heel-O-Matic will be reaching out to us with no sign of this happening. We have used Heel-O-Matic for about 25 years and gave the previous products to younger ropers we were so happy with the products. We had the first version of the Heel-O-Matic and the first trainer that are still operating today. This product unfortunately has hurt the progress of my young horses and also a few beginners that are not quite ready for cattle. If you have $5000 to spend buy broke in cattle.

So happy I found this place. I had just arrived in Pampa for the night traveling through in my RV and my toilet line busted. No repair shops in the area and was heading to Amarillo anyway. Now sooner than later. Called Coolhorse and they were able to get me in right away all fixed up and even better with a separate shut off valve to the toilet. Now I won't be going without water should it ever happen again. Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. I very much appreciate everything. Highly recommend.

Best Tack Store in Amarillo! They have and amazing selection of saddles and ropes. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We'll stop in again next time we're in Amarillo!

Thanks to Chloe and Pryce we were able to trade in a trailer and get in our new in 24hrs from first contact. Chloe and Pryce went above and beyond to make sure our new trailer was ready to hit the road for a 6hr trip that day! Chloe even facetimed me to give me a walk through on the trailer since we were buying sight un seen! Chloe, Pryce & Michael stayed late after closing to help us get everything transferred from trailer to trailer! What a great team of people!

We were in a bad way. Our wheel bearing hub was destroyed and the bearings burned up. We called Coolhorse late in the day hoping they could help us. They took us in first thing the next morning. They replaced our hub and got us back on the road quickly. Thank you Coolhorse! You are a lifesaver!

What a horrible experience. I would highly recommend seeking services elsewhere. The lack of fee disclosure, misstated services that could be performed and poor resolution are just a few of the issues with the service department. Stay away.
