What a perfect day to visit Boldt Castle! The boat ride was quick. The grounds looked great. We really liked that the current upgrades are visible from a safe distance. We asked what’s the best way to tour the Castle. One of the guides recommended to watch the short video on the second floor and go from there. We had the app downloaded but opted not to use it to guide us through.

The Boldt Castle Tour stop should be a required stop for any visitors to the area. The staff was pleasant, helpful and extremely insightful on renovations. We ended up spending over 3+ hours roaming around the castle and grounds. It was very enjoyable to explore at our own pace and sad to know the history of the castle. We will be joining the FB page to keep on the progress in renovations. Well done for the craftsmanship putting it back together after the neglect. Really enjoyed our time, thank you.

Visiting Boldt Castle on Victoria Day via a City Cruises tour from Gananoque is an absolutely unforgettable experience that pairs scenic relaxation with stunning architecture. From the grand staircase to the stained-glass dome, the interior craftsmanship is visually stunning. It is an amazing experience that perfectly blends natural beauty with architectural wonder, making it a must-do day trip from Gananoque. Visiting with US visa on passport was hassle free, some extra time to off board at castle/Gananoque, but you still get close to 90 min to explore and take beautiful pictures at castle

Boldt Castle was absolutely worth the visit. The castle and grounds are beautiful, the views of the St. Lawrence River are incredible, and the history behind the property makes it even more interesting. There is much more to see than just the main castle, so plan a few hours to explore. Easily one of the highlights of the Thousand Islands area. Highly recommended.

It took 30 years to get back to Boldt Castle. So much has been restored & created to visionarys renditions of what it should have looked like at the turn of the 20th century. Absolutely gorgeous.

We'll worth the visit, I was quite impressed. The whole island and views and castle are stunning from quite literally every angle. Highly recommend!
