Alhamdulillah, masya-Allah, tabarakallah 🤲 My wife and I had the opportunity to perform prayer at this mosque 🥰. - The prayer halls are very spacious and clean with ample space for both men and women. - The mosque has excellent facilities including large wudu (ablution) areas and clean toilets. - The atmosphere is peaceful and uplifting, perfect for prayer and reflection. - The staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly. -Conveniently located near Whitechapel Station, making it easy to access.

The main building includes multiple sections, along with an Islamic school for learning. There is also a spacious area designated for janaza (funeral) prayers. Praying inside the mosque was a truly pleasant experience. Additionally, several popular restaurants are within a five-minute walk, though parking can be challenging on weekends.

Creating a more welcoming atmosphere for families would help the next generation feel connected and comfortable in the masjid. The volunteers would also benefit from some training, especially in how they communicate with people, to ensure everyone feels respected and valued.

The East London Mosque (ELM) is situated in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets between Whitechapel and Aldgate East. Combined with the adjoining London Muslim Centre and Maryam Centre, it is one of the largest mosques in Western Europe accommodating more than 7,000 worshippers for congregational prayers. The mosque was one of the first in the UK to be allowed to use loudspeakers to broadcast the adhan.

I recently visited East London Mosque for Iftar and had a very positive experience. The mosque is well maintained, clean, and very organised. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful place for prayer and reflection, with excellent facilities for the community like places to keep shoes and wudu area.

There is a huge hall for prayers. The area of making wuddu/ablution was super clean and organized. There are many sections inside the main building and an Islamic learning school is also there. Vast area for holding janaza/funeral prayers. I absolutely loved praying inside the Masjid. There are also famous restaurants reachable by 5 mins by walk. Parking space might be difficult to find on weekends.
