Dark Sugars

My wife and I went to Dark Sugars while walking Brick Lane (we had visited them on an earlier trip). We had the hot chocolate with caramel and chocolate shavings added to the cup. Just to echo what others have said: the taste and texture of the drink is divine. Not too sweet but full of rich chocolate flavor. By far, the best hot chocolate we've had....ever. I'm not a person that orders deserts or has candy, but when visiting Dark Sugars, I'd regret not getting something.

This chocolate shop offers very reasonably priced chocolates made from cocoa beans imported from Ghana, Africa. The flavor is richer and more complex than regular chocolates, and there's a wide variety to choose from. You can sample the different flavors before selecting your favorite. I especially recommend their pistachio and caramel truffles.

Omg this place is a chocolate heaven on earth. We were just walking through brick lane when i came across dark sugars. Quickly nipped in and ended up sugar high. Such excellent quality chocolates and that too with such a wide variety. Do try their speciality hot chocolate

There are many amazing flavors being offered at Dark Sugars, such as the chilli truffles. There are some free samples available at the counter, which as a first time visitor I appreciated. I ended up with 3 tiny bags of chocolate varieties and a cup of chocolate. If you really love chocolate and sweet stuff, do order the drink!

Not my first time here and that says how special this place is! The classical hot chocolate taste is very special and good. Worth coming to try. The lady there is very sweet and kind adding the mixture of chocolate sticks to the drinks with a big smile, making the taste rich and high quality. There are also variety of good chocolates to buy from there. However, prices are high and there is no place to sit- this should be noted. The experience would’ve been much better if there were places to sit and relax and enjoy the drinks there.

Being a chocolate lover, I had to stop by this shop while exploring Brick Lane. I tried their famous hot chocolate and picked out a few of their unique artisanal truffles to take home. The quality of the chocolate is impressive, and the hot chocolate is definitely one of the best I’ve had in London. The smell inside is heavenly, and the vibe is great with music playing and massive trays of chocolate chunks everywhere. It’s an essential stop if you appreciate real chocolate; just being inside the shop is an experience in itself.

Amazing experience 🤍 The staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming — she made the visit even more special. The chocolate itself is absolutely delicious, and the warm atmosphere makes you want to come back again. I’ll definitely be returning, both for the chocolate and the lovely service!

I personal think this place is too hyped up, I didn’t like the hot chocolate but everyone else seemed to like it. Other than the chocolate shaving nothing was really now about it. I love the decor but at the same time I didn’t like everything being out in the open in a cramped space, anyone could touch the chocolate with their bare hand and that just put me totally off. If you getting just hot chocolate you are spending under £10 but if you want to try their chocolate you will be spending over £10 for sure for a small amount.
