Anyone considering this company should sort the reviews by NEWEST, it quickly becomes clear how much the level of service has declined. I would recommend considering alternative providers where you can actually get through by phone. Very disappointing experience. I ordered 30 packs of Kingspan K106, but Mannok insulation was delivered instead. Considering the price difference between the two products, this is a significant error that requires urgent and proper resolution. Although a replacement was promised and described as a priority, three days have passed without any substantive confirmation beyond general assurances. There has been no clear delivery date or firm plan provided. If everything goes smoothly, you may have no issues. However, as soon as something goes wrong, there appears to be little to no meaningful support or follow-through. After taking their commission, Materials Market has not taken sufficient responsibility for resolving the issue. Communication has been extremely poor, calls are very difficult to get through, and email responses tend to avoid providing direct answers. This has caused delays on site and ongoing costs. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

I found Materials Market with very competitive prices, ease of ordering and efficient delivery service. I have purchased a couple of times building products for a shed base and Driveway project. Items arrived on time and in good order. Really pleased and pleasantly surprised having not used Materials Market before. Quality of the OSB board was in great condition, I was kept informed from order to delivery. And the best price I could online or in store. I will be using again. Paul

I used Materials Market to purchase the materials for a DIY garden project that involved installing a 5m x 5m concrete slab with steel re-inforcement and a new 25m fence run. Delivery was very fast, price was excellent and I was able to order everything I neeeded. I signed up to MM+ for a short period of time to get free delivery because this worked out a bit cheaper but then was able to cancel at no notice - a very good service overall and I will certainly re-use again in the future.

Update after 3 orders I total. ( they are improving ) much better at contact. Still some issues with delivery times and wood is delivered wet ( twists while drying) still prices are very good. Cheap prices and cheap company. Delivery on completely different day, without any notice, half of the order missing. Thrown on the driveway. I have order a palet or rockwool ( it was a bunch deal to get whole pallet) but i received bunch of ripped loose packs. The klin dried wood I received was soaking wet. ... More than half of the rockwool is missing, no update form company. I message them and now I am waiting for update since last week and there is no feedback.

Ordering is always easy, Delivery always pretty prompt considering we live in the depths of the countryside. Great bag of granite to finish off a step project. Materials Market will always be my go to for building supplies as cheaper than going direct to the supplying company.

*EDIT* ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered chipboard from Material Market and it was due to arrive on Tuesday. It is now Thursday with no update or response. I tried ringing - answer phone. Online chat - "we have flagged up your order". The website states that they would 'be in contact within a few hours', I have contacted them multiple times with no avail over the last couple of days. I will never use this company again. I work full time, and can't just 'wait for a delivery'! WHERE IS MY CHIPBOARD? If there was going to be a delay, I'd atleast appreciate an update! **EDIT**: I have since been contacted by Materials Market and this problem has now been rectified. Jo has been absolutely spectacular in her efforts to chase up my order, which was actually an issue with the external supplier. I cannot thank her enough for her efforts and for getting my order processed and delivered in such a short space of time. I have also received an email from the co-founder and chief operating officer of Materials Market in regards to my order and delays in response, and that they will be investigating internally regarding their follow-up processes. Unfortunately I bought some goods from them for which they had 4-5 days to have them delivered. Today when I was required to receive a message from them as to the time of delivery for tomorrow, instead I received a message from them stating that they are waiting for suppliers acceptance and are working to resolve the issue quickly. This suggested that they could not schedule the delivery of goods within the timeframe which they themselves are promised and as such they lack the ability and capability to deliver goods on time. Buyers are advised to protect their own interest and avoid buying from Material Market. To summarise, I would state that they are a dishonest company because they do not honour their commitments and time carries no meaning for them
