We had our daughters First Communion Celebration at The Moss Trooper and 100% recommend it for any occasion. The party food selection we chose was delicious, hot and great value for money. They even provided gluten and dairy free option for one of our guests. People keep commenting on how yummy it was and how much they enjoyed the celebration. Jo, Rick and Molly made everything so stress free and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much!

I regularly come to the pub I love the atmosphere in here. The staff are so helpful and kind always have a laugh especially with Eve. All the staff are very hardworking and it’s not badly priced. Nice beer garden in the summer. Had many celebrations here for various occasions and they’ve always accommodated it and made it special. Special mentions to Eve, Marcus and Molly.
Fantastic evening spent at the Moss Trooper. Thanks to Phil, David and Kian for our delicious food and thanks to front of house in particular Jo for fabulous service, always made to feel so welcome. Highly recommended x
Fabulous pub. We are from out of the area but look after our grandchildren weekly in Timperley. Our son recommended the pub to us. We have tried other pubs in the area but nothing compares to the Moss Trooper and we now eat there every week. The menu changes seasonally and it’s always great. I only realised recently that it’s a chain. It doesn’t feel like one. Staff are very welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend.
We just had our first visit since the change in management. Whilst not "regular" customers we do consider this to be our local and when we visit it is usually a full meal and drinks for at least four people. Following a day out we actually refrained from eating in Manchester in order to visit the Moss Trooper instead. Sadly we waited 50 mins for food only to be told they were out of one of our orders. When the food did come one order was fish and chips with their northern upgrade. This was nothing like we have had before from there. The fish was greasy and soggy. There was a film on the curry sauce and mushy peas to the point that we had to "pop" the skin to be able to pour them. After that we ordered desert and, again, they were out of one of the orders. We were unable to catch a member of staff to ask for the bill and so had to go to the bar to ask for and pay the bill. We were then dutifully charged for a full meal and drink that we hadn't ordered or consumed.... When we did point this out, to be fair we were refunded, unfortunately this could only be in cash and not on the card they had just taken payment from. All in all, really sadly, a disappointing experience and we won't be rushing to go back.
Lovely family get together for Christmas. Service was great - Eve was our waitress and she really looked after us! Will defo come back in the New Year.
Eve the girl behind the bar was awesome!!! Great service and so nice of her to personally make two desserts herself after the kitchen closed for the kids. A most pleasant evening
